DIY Two Combo Rice

Dinner shared by two pax on Thursday 5 Nov 2020 d233. Rice with zhar yuk muk ye (bought on Tuesday) and braised pork trotter (bought on Sunday) with one braised egg. So these two meat dishes bought from the same stall are cleared now. A meaty dinner.

Lunch - whole steamed salted chicken leg shared by two pax. A bit on the salty side.

Breakfast of 3jc mihun soup with added siew bok choy shared by two pax.

My portion of breakfast.

My portion of lunch. So now all food that are bought on Sunday and Tuesday for the 5 weekdays are mostly cleared now. Only left pork trotter vinegar rice for the next day which is today, Friday. Cake Surabaya is also cleared today. Another week day is completed.

Only for 3 days, from 9 to 11 Nov 2020, must order using hp app for delivery or self collection. NuxV, are you getting them? 😋

  1. My favourite would definitely be the braised pork trotter...and of course, the egg!

  2. You mixed both rice dishes and eat it?? Must be tasty as braised meat tastes better the next day.

    1. Both dishes eaten on previous days so just put the balance together on top of the rice. Yes all meat are tender and flavourful.

*for those who don't eat fries & avoid carbonated drinks, the burgers only promotion seems good!

  4. Wah! You are still eating Cake Surabaya. You have lured me to visit Starling Mall asap to buy Kek Lapis as there is a booth that sells several types of Kek Lapis. So tempting.

    1. I still got 4 other types of kek lapis and half marble cake in my fridge. I guess your fridge also got lots of food.

    2. One fridge that keeps ingredients is always full. The other fridge which I blogged about is almost 50% empty now. It's because we eat out very often.

    3. Time to clear that 50% and restock.

  5. The steamed salted chicken leg would be nice if not too salty. What is zhar yuk muk ye? I like meaty meals.

  6. You could chop up some veg and chuck in to balance out the meat and salt.

Your portions of food are so cute!
