On Wednesday 17.sep.2025, went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling and Nam Heong Pinnacle condo Sri Petaling for brunch.

It was drizzling in the morning so there was a valid parking spot nearby along the road in front of Thong Kee.

8.56 am - we shared this prawn chicken hor fun soup.

9 am - he also ordered pork and livers soup no noodles, MYR 3.60+ for 2 half boiled eggs and 1 glass of hot cham MYR 3.30+

After that, we crossed the road to pinnacle condo.

9.29 am - I ordered the MYR 5.90+ breakfast set of iced long black, two soft boiled eggs and Kaya butter toasts. He ate the two eggs for me so he ate 4 eggs 🥚 in one day. Then I also ordered one egg tart MYR 3.50+ for myself. Total MYR 10.35 nett while waiting for the pinnacle condo supermarket to open at 10 am.

I bought 2 packs of mandarin oranges at an offer price of MYR 12.39 nett for both packs.

Ah, many people also ask this question so it is same same but Different. The answer didn't really give an explanation as there is another section in the menu for chop suey.

History wise, no idea what happened to have this difference in the words being used but items not used. 😂

2.56 pm - I finished off the roast duck leg from the previous day and edamame 🫛 mustard from a few days ago. I ate wholemeal bread with the duck, very tasty as the duck is marinated well with 5 spice powder and plum sauce. The duck meat is firm, dense and chewable by my weak teeth.

On Tuesday 16.sep.2025, he bought one pomelo at MYR 14.90 nett and one pomelo at MYR 16.90 nett.

9.06 am - he bought a loaf of bread from 7-11 and MYR 17 nett for 5 items from TK bakery:

I didn't eat any of the 5 above items.

Brain Scan

On Wednesday 29.may.2024, I woke up early at 3.48 am and at 5 am, started my 🐈😺 duty. Then at 6.20 am, we went to pick up the elderly and grab to get a brain scan for the doctor later to properly diagnose the bad short term memory.

*** Morning till Noon ***

6.58 am - arrived.

7 am sharp.

7.55 am - scan brain in this room after paying MYR 225 nett.

8.28 am - please be polite to the hardworking people in this place and anywhere for that matter.

8.54 am - 3 went for brunch at 212 food Court.

Good that it is spacious and airy.

9.02 am - roast chicken and char siew rice and 1 braised egg with chicken rice MYR 10.50 nett as requested by the elderly.

9.09 am - my braised egg and roast chicken thigh MYR 7.50 nett. 1 Cham ping, 1 hot Cham and 1 hot Milo total MYR 8.70 nett.

His wanton char Siew noodles MYR 8 nett.

9.18 am - his remaining wanton noodles for me to finish up for him.

10.50 am - pork kidney, liver, meat wine soup without rice without noodles MYR 17 nett from a stall in Joo Hing eatery oug.

Round oug market area a few times but no parking space so went into the indoor wet market building to park at the basement car park for one hour MYR 2.20 nett.

11.08 am - this is the pork kidney stall.

11.26 am - Deep fried pork rinds by post.

11.57 am - assorted edible items bought from oug.

12.06 noon - Yuan Taste cranberry almond eggy sponge cake MYR 23 nett. I didn't intend to buy a cake from this oug shop but when I was walking near the shop, the fragrant baked goods aroma tempted me to buy one cake.

12.06 noon - very eggy taste.

12.12 noon - two very buttery flaky layered crust pastry skin egg tarts at MYR 10 nett for 3 but I bought only two so they are MYR 7 nett at MYR 3.50 nett each. I bought 2 only so that I have one piece of MYR 20 as the change with no coins and just one MYR 20 note.

Very crunchy crispy buttery flaky layered pastry skin. Sold by same shop as Yuan Taste cake.

12.26 noon - cross section of buttery egg tart.

12.14 noon - one malako and one red bean flat bun sold by a roadside stall in oug. Total MYR 5.90 nett.

12.17 noon - the sweet red bean fillings in the flat bun. Taste ok. The yeast taste in the bun is strong and the red bean paste is quite sweet. I ate one quarter and put the remaining in the freezer to test its frozen texture the next day.

He also bought takeaway duck meat from a shop next to Joo Hing eatery oug and 8 tea eggs, 3 bottles of herbal drinks from a herbal shop in oug.

On Monday 25.mar.2024, went for early brunch nearby at million ocean again , then he dropped me off and went to wait for iwk lorry. After cleaning up, he picked me up for early dinner at nam heong pinnacle.

2.37 pm - he ordered this fried chicken gizzard sambal curry rice and we shared it.

2.35 pm - he ordered 1 egg tart and 1 iced drink. I ordered a kaya puff only. The egg tart has a artificial butter taste that he doesn't like so he ate a bit of it and asked me to eat the remaining all.

One 85 egg tart Nam Heong

On Tuesday 3.oct.2023, our target is to eat the MYR 1.85 egg tart in Nam Heong Promo from 2.oct.2023 to 6.oct.2023 which begins at 12 noon. Since we are buying takeaway chapfan lunch for the Elderlies from Fatty Mixed Rice Sri Petaling we ate our brunch there too.

We have a voucher for a cup of free hot white coffee with a minimum order of MYR 20 so we ordered siew Mai, steamed egg custard and cendol ice dessert before 12 noon to claim that free cup of hot white coffee and then when the clock strikes 12 noon, we ordered one MYR 1.85 egg tart each as the t&c stipulates that one egg tart only per one customer.

11.56 am - iced cendol dessert MYR 6.90+ top view. The portion is bigger than my expectation.

11.58 am - side view, oh so tall. 😋

12.12 noon - ah, what a surprise! Why is there a big ball of red bean paste with whole red beans embedded in the ball of red bean paste in the heart of the shaved ice? Never seen this type of cendol before 😂 too much sweetness for me to down in one sitting so I pour all the remaining dessert into my container and brought it home.

3.23 pm - after being in my freezer for a few hours, I ate all the remaining dessert and kept the red bean ball for future days because the red bean ball is sweet and I have had enough sugar for one day.

12.05 noon - the two MYR 1.85+ each egg tarts. Usual price is MYR 3 ish per tart. The tarts now have a bit of under baked pastry skins unlike before but they are still better tasting egg tarts compared to many egg tarts.

11.59 am - his siew Mai MYR 7.9+ which I didn't eat at all because I am making extra effort not to eat minced meat.

11.54 am - side view steamed caramel egg custard MYR 6.9+ 

11.53 am - top view. The caramel egg custard is tasty on the top part but the bottom part is quite mushy and felt like it required more time to steam. The free hot white coffee is frothy on top and should be tasty because he drank it all without rejecting it. I didn't drink it because I was overwhelmed with sweetness from sugar overload from the cendol.

12.18 noon - total price is MYR 27.95 nett. Nam Heong eatery at pinnacle condo. House of pok is now at this condo too.

11.59 am - I am very interested to try these small bowls of meals to see whether the carb is small portion to fit my requirement or not. Only MYR 5+ but only available from 12 noon.

11.16 am - two chapfan no rice MYR 15 nett Fatty Mixed Rice. His top MYR 8 nett. My chapfan no rice of two vege dishes and two eggs dishes MYR 7 nett.

11.59 am - this lunch set has too much carb for me so is not suitable.
