Too salty ckt

On Thursday 18.june.2026, I woke up at 2.30 am so at 6.48 am, we went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling which opens at 7 am. But when we reached there at a little after 7 am, we still had to queue and wait for seats but just a short wait compared to reaching there at 7.30 am.

*** Thong Kee Sri Petaling ***

7.06 am - chicken thigh, prawns hor fun soup MYR 14 nett.

7.12 am - he didn't want to eat fried chicken but curry chicken is not ready yet so he didn't order nasi lemak but ordered TK style char Kueh teow MYR 9.50+ which was very salty making it difficult to eat but I swallowed everything on the ckt plate and completed my meals for today.

He also ordered the usual soft boiled eggs MYR 3.60+, kaya butter toasts MYR 3.20+ and instead of cham, he chose hot white coffee less sugar this time MYR 4.20+ but the white coffee tastes like 3-in-1 premixed white coffee which is very sweet so I didn't drink much of it.

I also don't know why ah buuiii 🐈‍⬛ hangs on to the light switch by both front paws 😅 I saw 🐈‍⬛ doing it twice in front of me. 😂
The light switch is 5 feet from the ground and 🐈‍⬛ just jumps up and hangs on by both front paws holding the light switch with legs straight high up from the floor making me 😂 🤣

Next morning 44.20
Removed 450g water because I completed my meals very early at 9 am after eating that very salty ckt.

Char Kway Teow

On Monday 14.jul.2025, I suggested that we go to Swee Hing coffee shop for food because it has been quite some time that I didn't eat char kway teow.

*** Swee Hing coffee shop ***

10.57 am - char kway teow with duck egg and mixed with yellow noodles. Around MYR 13 and a bit on the salty side.

10.54 am - he ordered siew yuk and steamed chicken MYR 20 nett.
The cold cham C kosong drink, hot cham less sweet and 2 soft boiled eggs cost MYR 9.10 nett.
At home, I ate one small red apple.

Morning 44.2
Next morning 44.00
Completed my meals early at about 1 pm so removed 200g of water.

*** His early dinner ***

2.42 pm - he remembers that he has remaining ready to eat naan in the fridge so he bought takeaway onion chili chicken thigh MYR 7+ and cabbage MYR 3+ and ate them with one piece of cold naan. I didn't eat anything from his early dinner.

Early ABC

On Wednesday 12.jun.2024, he chose to go to Kokan coffee shop for brunch. After that I suggested to go to ABC Temerluh to eat ABC.

*** Kokan ***

This Kokan coffee shop is always full so we need to queue for a while before getting 2 seats at a table just big enough for 5 pax, sharing the table with 3 strangers.

9.35 am - he ordered char kway teow MYR 9 nett and chicken feet mushrooms wanton noodles MYR 10 nett.

9.36 am - his hot coffee MYR 2.60 nett. We shared all the food as per usual.

3 pm - he bought sausage, siew yuk and char siew ribs MYR 15 nett from the roast meat stall in Kokan for his early dinner. I ate the final 8 of 8 remaining tea egg bought the previous wed with 3 to 4 slices of green gardenia wholemeal bread for early dinner.

*** ABC Temerluh ***

10.12 am - his 2 soft boiled eggs MYR 3.90 which he ate with lots of pepper powder.

10.04 am - my ABC MYR 6.50 with one empty bowl that they gave us by default because they thought we wanted to share the ABC which we do share but we didn't use that empty bowl. This ABC has coarsely shaved ice which is ok with me. Acceptable ABC.

Excuse the Language

On Monday 26.feb.2024, went for early breakfast, then waited for the call to deal with shit. Then after cleaning up, went for lunch which is also when I closed shop after eating mango at home. On lights and picked up items to be delivered tomorrow.

*** Thong Kee Sri Petaling lunch ***

12.03 noon - I let him do all the ordering. I am only eating the remaining food. Rojak and two half boiled eggs.

12.13 noon - ckt which he dipped in his bowl of half boiled eggs.

12.27 noon - I ate his remaining ckt in the remaining rojak gravy.

12.38 noon - long queue so we ate quickly and vacated the table for the queue.

12.06 noon - our iced 1+1 drink went missing so we asked for it many times and only received it when we have eaten all the food.

*** Million Ocean ssg breakfast ***

Went to Tim Won to eat trotters wanton noodles but all stalls in Tim Won are closed except for Tim Won coffee shop main drinks operator so went to Million Ocean again.

7.54 am - two of us shared these 3 items for breakfast.

*** Hairy Seed ***

1.27 pm - he ate the sides and I ate remaining mango meat on the seed of the mango. I was reminded by this experience why I don't buy whole mangoes because I don't like to have mango fibers sticking on the seed getting stuck in between my teeth.

This mango 🥭 is one of the remnants from the almost daily morning surprises that the elderly buy during the curious forgetful walks to the nearby makeshift street morning market. We used to ask  when we greeted the elderly what did you buy from your walk this time. The answer would be a surprise look and turning around to look at the dining table and pointing to the plastic bags, saying, forgot, go see for yourselves. Hopefully no more surprises for us anymore if the elderly likes the e-resort.

*** His Dinner ***

4.57 pm - his dinner of one braised egg and braised duck breast meat that he bought on Sunday 25.feb.2024 from a stall in the corner Eng Huat Kopitiam OUG after we have eaten ice desserts at Kwong Wah OUG.

*** Dealing with Shit ***

Received official letter that says to clear your shit else face 50k in fine so ok, time to clear 10+ years shit storage which is only half tank, no one stay here is the question received. Answer is, eat meat no eat fibers so no shit.

Two cars blocked the entry but luckily the sucking hose extension is long enough.
1020 to 1028, only 8 minutes worth of load for 192. Good service 👍

10.21 am - See you again in 2 years.

Apam LPS OUG

On Saturday 17.feb.2024, went over 3x for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After breakfast, we went for a site visit at 9.30 am and then went to oug for food.

*** Sun Sea Coffee shop oug ***

He wanted to eat brunch at Yi Feng Restaurant OUG but there was a queue and need to wait so we walked to Sun Sea coffee shop instead. The previous time we went to Sun Sea coffee shop to buy food is in 2022, 2 years ago:

10.21 am - my order of Penang duck eggs ckt less spicy kway teow mixed yellow noodles MYR 9.50 nett. Tasty and is those quite dry type which I like to eat.

10.18 am - his seafood pork horfun with added eggs from the popular sun sea seafood pork soup noodles stall. This stall is heard to be affiliated with Hong cha eatery as in the link below:

10.11 am - while waiting for his noodles, he ordered a portion of steamed chicken MYR 8 nett which I ate one piece. Very tasty chicken without the strong off putting chicken smell. The garlic dip is very tasty too. He also bought one pack of siew yuk and roast chicken meat, total MYR 10 nett to takeaway for the elderly's lunch.

I ordered a glass of ice Hainan char MYR 3.40 nett. Forget to request for less sweet so I find this drink quite sweet.

10.12 am - the popular seafood pork noodles soup stall at Sun Sea coffee shop, OUG.

10.38 am - this light beige coloured corner coffee shop is Sun Sea coffee shop at OUG. I couldn't find a signboard with the name Sun Sea on it though.

*** Apam LPS Lao Pin Seah ***

10.12 am - at Sun Sea coffee shop, I was pleasantly surprised to see this Penang style apom balik because I like to eat Penang style apom balik with sweet corns and banana in them.

It seems that this Apam LPS has a 1st branch somewhere out there and this is the 2nd branch.

10.13 am - this is Apam LPS menu:
4 pieces at MYR 5.20 nett:
A. Plain Apam
B. Banana fillings
C. Sweet corn fillings
D. Red bean fillings

4 pieces at MYR 6 nett:
F. Banana and sweet corns filings
G. Pandan Apam with coconut ye zhar fillings.

I ordered F. And G. Total MYR 12 nett.
I prefer F than G because G reminds me of kuih ketayap aka Dadar gulung due to the ye zhar coconut.

*** OUG Traditional Confectionery ***

10.43 am - I was looking for kaya swiss roll inside sun sea coffee shop and was sad to find the stall is no longer there so I was very happy to see the stall has opened its own individual shop nearby. The shop name in Chinese is 猪仔包 which translates directly to small pig bun but these buns are sold out so I only bought one whole Kaya swiss roll and one egg cake aka kaidan gou MYR 11.60 nett for both items.

*** Yi Feng eatery OUG ***

He told me that he has paid parking for two hours so we decided to see whether or not the queue is still there at Yi Feng. No queue. Just a short wait for the table to be cleared for us.

10.58 am - he ordered one pork ribs curry noodles MYR 18++ which has pieces of pork meat rather than ribs. Sweet curry so is totally not spicy. Iced coffee at MYR 4.90++ which tastes okay 👍

10.58 am - interior of Yi feng eatery at OUG which occupies a corner shop lot.

Total bill is MYR 26.55 nett.

11.20 am - saw this piece of calcite stone on the cashier counter.

*** Kwong Wah Ais Kacang OUG ***

11.21 am - ah, if only I still have stomach space, I would eat a bowl of ABC. Unfortunately I don't so sadly I cannot eat my favourite ice desserts.

11.21 am - this kwong Wah Ais Kacang is right next to yi Feng eatery.

*** Picky eater? ***

12.08 noon - the elderly says, ah, siew yuk siew Kai.

12.26 noon - can see there are pieces of remaining siew Kai and confirm, the elderly doesn't like all types of mushrooms as the mushrooms are just left there untouched.

6.27 pm - lotus root soup which the elderly drank and ate the lotus root but didn't touch the meat in the soup. Chef yaw precooked chicken with wax sausages.

7.05 pm - done 😢 the elderly didn't eat any of the chicken, just ate all the lap Cheong. Kid3 asked the elderly, next time no need to buy chicken meat for you is it? The elderly says need, still eat Chicken but today don't want.

Later the elderly told me, now 80+ already so just let it be. I was surprised to hear the elderly use these 3 English words: let it be

Because the elderly doesn't speak English. So weird.

*** 7296 ***

Wondering about this number when arrived for our appointment at 9.30 am.

9.33 am - a very bright and airy place.

Experiment

On Saturday 9.sep.2023, the elderly requested for trotters so we went to Swee Hing coffee shop for brunch to buy it. Later in the evening, he went by himself to eat dinner at 126 mixed rice Sri Petaling and buy chapfan dinner for the Elderlies because I had omad.

9.59 am - my omad - duck ckt yellow Mee kway Teow MYR 11 nett and lean char siew with roast chicken breast meat MYR 10 nett.

9.56 am - his wanton noodles trotters which I ate a quarter. In the plastic bag, there are one pack of trotters only and one pack of wanton noodles trotters for the Elderlies' lunch. 3 items total price MYR 33 nett. After the Elderlies ate the trotters, they say the trotters are too salty.

His hot hainan coffee MYR 2.70 nett and my kuih MYR 2.60 nett which he ate one quarter.
I wanted to buy kaya puff MYR 2.10 nett and I have 60 cents in coins so I thought why not use up all the coins by buying a pack of kuih MYR 2.60 nett which I did in the end.

My experiment is what would be my weight if I eat a high sugar and high carb omad before noon. My weight fluctuates between 43.80 kg to 46 kg depending on how much fluid my body retains.

For the past 2 days, my morning weight was 43.95 kg so after eating this high carb high sugar omad before noon and 17 blueberries at 2.30 pm, my weight the next morning is 44.05 kg at 9 am so this means if I crave for high sugar high carb food I can eat them as omad before noon once in a while.

3.44 pm - Sakura gold brocade fabric.

3.51 pm - same but not same. Traditional cloud sea wave pattern brocade fabric.

"Lishui (Chinese: 立水; pinyin: lìshuǐ; lit. 'standing water') or shuijiao (Chinese: 水脚; Chinese: shuǐjiǎo; lit. 'water feet') is a set of parallel diagonal (either straight or wavy), multicoloured sea-waves/line patterns."

Ckt Oriental Kopi

On Monday 13.feb.2023, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil for our food.

12.11 noon - ckt with two big prawns with shells still on. I ate both prawns including their shells. This ckt is only available after 11 am and tastes spicy with a bit of sweetness.

12 noon - fruit rojak with a cup of hot white coffee. There are pineapples, guava, sour mango, cucumber and deep fried fritters in this fruit rojak. The sauce has prawn paste and crushed peanuts, sesame seeds and dried small shrimps and tastes sweet.

12 noon - we shared this plate of kampung mihun and deep fried pieces of boneless chicken.

Total price is MYR 63.90 at Oriental Kopi pavilion Bukit Jalil.
