Snack for CNY

On Sunday 30.jan.22, we went to Taman Desa to get food for everyone including the Elderlies. Bought one large ice coffee and milk tea from the coffee van at a total of MYR 8.8 nett only which I consider to be a good price.

Bought these 5 packs of snacks from Mix convenient store using tng easi app because there are vouchers and Cashback. Each pack costs MYR 4 since total price paid is MYR 20 inclusive of delivery fees. The two kams are foc from Mix.

Bought this meal because of the extraong promo code.

Beef curry rice from Dim Sum house. I like the beef curry because it is creamy and not spicy. The portion is for a small eater.

MYR 14.76 nett only after using the extraong promo.

Economy rice from Tuck Tuck Tei. The dishes I chose are:

1. Steamed chicken thigh

2. Egg tofu

3. Long bean

4. Yin choy

5. Bitter gourd

6. Hard boiled egg braised

7. Rice

The above dishes and rice costs MYR 12 nett.

After selecting the above dishes, I saw pumpkin and so I bought pumpkin and brinjals. Price is MYR 4 only for two dishes.

One elderlies' lunch.

Bought 2 packs of ccf set from a stall in Tuck Tuck Tei eatery. One elderlies just love to eat ccf.

Pick up order from Good Taste Taman Desa. Used the tapauextra promo code.

The Elderlies' dinner. Sent direct to them. Surprisingly at nearly 5 pm, the extraong promo code has not been fully redeemed for the day and I could still use it. Have yet to get feedback from the Elderlies about the meat in the bkt.

Nature Wonders

On Thursday 13.jan.22, it is lunch for the Elderlies as usual. 

Bought these snacks from nature's wonders online store for CNY as there are some promotions going on there. This brand belongs to Tai Sun Food Industries of Sg.

I like the macadamia nuts which tastes very rich and creamy

Bought two bundles.

*** Thursday lunch ***

For the elderlies: stirfry ccf and noodles made from fish paste. Feedback is that it is too spicy.

Our shared lunch - stirfry ccf.

Fish cake, Tau kan and bean curd sheets. Too salty.

Elderlies lunch: Hainanese chicken rice. Cannot see the chicken because it is underneath the beansprouts.

After applying all discounts we only need to pay about MYR 37 which is inclusive of delivery. A good price.

10.42 am - our shared breakfast of instant noodles. I ate all the remaining chicken breast meat from Nando's.

3.20 pm - this I natural mango ice cream tastes really good, not too sweet with real mango pieces in it.

Brownie Chips

Saturday 25.dec.21 is his duty day so it is lunch and dinner for the Elderlies.

Received this amazing gift. What a nice surprise.

We just ate one pack of brownie Chips. Very crunchy and tasty with the taste of dark chocolate and nuts.

Lunch for the Elderlies delivered directly to them from Fa Cai coffee shop in Sri Petaling via Foodpanda for a total of MYR 20.29 nett.

His dinner with the Elderlies. Steamed Fish is their favourite dish.

Shopeefood changed their delivery radius from 10 km to 8 km so Lan Je Steam Fish is no longer in the list so he has to use Grabfood to buy dinner for the elderlies.

Odd One Out

On Friday 29.oct.21, we went out for a short while to pass a manual to an acquaintance so we ordered food via Foodpanda and picked up the food ourselves. After that, it is stay at home the whole day because Friday is kid 1's day but fav kid asked kid 1 to have a good rest at home because fav kid will take care of the Elderlies' meals for the whole day.

11 am - we picked up nasi lemak rendang rice and Ipoh white coffee from Ho Family Kitchen eatery in Sri Petaling for lunch. They have opened for dine in and we noticed some tables are occupied.

The photo shows Chee Cheong fun but we have not tried their Chee Cheong fun yet. Maybe one day we will try the ccf. For dinner we ate the salmon teriyaki rice that we bought on Wednesday, 2 days ago from Brew House, Kuchai branch without heating it. Still taste good but the rice is not as soft as just delivered.

10.39 am - bought these snacks using Foodpanda because the panda challenge is ending. Hahaha 😂🤣 fall into the panda challenge trap.

The challenge is to perform two orders.

So place order 2 from a shop with free delivery. Challenge completed and 150 points in the pocket.

Roller Coaster

Sunday 10.oct.21 is a fuel up the car day. Didn't drop in on the elderlies because it is their day with kid 1 taking care of their meals for the whole day.

10.57 am - There are remaining cheese curry gravy in the fridge so I bought some vegetables to cook in the curry gravy.

11.50 am - The vegetables are cooked in the gravy so I ate everything in this pot for lunch including the curry gravy.

10.17 am - I always buy these vegetables whenever I have remaining curry gravy from curry noodles in the fridge.

Bought these snacks from the petrol station. Fish crackers costs MYR 2.80 nett and a pack of my favourite Potatoes rings costs MYR 2.30 nett. The flavours I bought are BBQ, Tom Yum, and Cheese. The flavour that I did not buy is the spicy chicken flavour. Will slowly eat these snacks.

The House of Snacks

 

Tuck Tuck Tei chapfan stall in Taman Desa.

The chap fan bought from the stall at MYR 6.50 nett with rice, yinchoy, cabbage, tofu, 2 pieces of curry potatoes and 1 small piece of curry chicken. The steamed chicken drumstick rice is bought from Sing Kee coffee shop at MYR 7.50 nett on Thu 13.may.21 at about 10.10 am.

Snack 1. I gave this pack of cheese balls away so I don't know how this snack taste like.

Snack 2 - hot and spicy prawn crackers, gave away also because we cannot eat spicy snacks.

2 more packs of snacks.

2 more snacks with the previous 2 at the back.

This is the bag containing all 6 packs of miaow miaow snacks or some will call them junk food.

Heart Miaowting Taste - is it a marketing person who thought of this tagline? What does heart Miaowting Taste mean?

I saw this bag with 6 packs of snacks inside being sold at a petrol station at MYR 10 nett per bag so I bought one.

Salted egg yolks cornflakes

Salted egg yolk cornflakes with curry leaves. Taste is on the sweet side with the rich creamy salted egg yolk aroma.

I bought 4 tubs and gave 3 tubs away. Ate one tub of salted egg cornflakes all by myself because he said they are too creamy for him.

There are lumps of salted egg yolk paste sandwiched between the cornflakes which makes this snack extremely creamy and rich in taste.

CNY Snacks

 3 days till CNY. My friend bought some cookies for me.

The hup tow sou cookies in individual packets. FOC Angpow packets.

Pineapple rolls.

Cashew nuts cookies.

We bought some nuts and mandarin oranges as gifts.

All red red.

5 packs of assorted nuts.

Small mandarin oranges. Sweet.

I bought 2 boxes of 24 small tau sar pneah from Ghee Hiang, Penang. Gave almost half away.
