On Monday 12.jan.2026, went to Taman Bukit Indah for food.

I wouldn't be able to tell that it is pistachio spread if I didn't know it

After doing trimming plants in the garden, ordered two cold drinks from thong Kee Sri Petaling and 4x3 curry puffs to get foc 3 more curry puffs 

He ate 2 curry puffs around 1 pm and another 2 curry puffs near 4 pm

I ate 1 curry puff at 1 pm and another ,q curry puff near 4 pm

1 kg cake took 1 week

On Wednesday 16.april.2025, we went to 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling for brunch.

8.44 am - the nasi lemak store was closed so he bought steamed chicken rice with char siew.

Hot cham drinks MYR 2.70 nett. I didn't order any drinks.

8.49 am - I bought broccoli 🥦 and 2 braised eggs no rice MYR 5 nett from the chapfan store. Then he put more than half of his rice into my bowl.

12.38 noon - ate the remaining 2 pieces of yam layer cake.

1 pm - my portion of Shepard avocado 🥑 

1.26 pm - I ate all the remaining 6 pieces of pandan layer cake with all the remaining blueberries. 

So it took me one whole week to eat all 30 pieces of cake while he helped me by eating 2 pieces. Total 1 kg for 2 cakes. This cake used a lot of santan so it is better to eat it all within 3 days in the fridge.

Frozen Sea Cucumber Oyster Pack

8.57 am - he ate nasi lemak chicken MYR 10 nett

9.05 am - his hot cham drink and my iced cham drink both total MYR 6 nett. I walked around a bit and decided on the dry chicken curry wanton noodles MYR 9 nett. I requested for half portion of noodles and then requested for broad wanton noodles. The seller told me that for broad wanton noodles, one portion is quite small so half portion will be just 2 or 3 mouthfuls so I said ok, one portion then as I think he would want to eat some broad wanton noodles too.

I also bought 2 braised eggs 2x1.5 and one pax portion of broccoli 🥦 from the chap fan stall, no rice, total MYR 5 nett to share with him.

Our total spending for brunch is MYR 30 nett.

Just one visit

On Thursday 3.feb.22, it was just one visit for him. He went over with lunch for the Elderlies and we ordered food via Foodpanda to be delivered dinner directly to the Elderlies.

5.40 pm - our dinner of blanched broccoli bought from pandamart a few days ago and instant noodles with the remaining char siew from afternoon's good taste eatery and the remaining final portion of the beef tendon pork trotter dish bought from Rue Ee restaurant on Sunday. I ate the broccoli only with a slice of bread to wipe all the gravy in the pot.

Ordered food for the elderlies and us from Good taste eatery in Taman Desa. One pack of char siew wanton noodles and one pack of siew yuk wanton noodles for the Elderlies. He also cooked a pack of frozen 5 sui gao with prawns fillings bought from Sanbanto. He ate one and the Elderlies ate two each. The prawn suit gao tastes good.

For our lunch, we ate all remaining duck from the travelling duck bought yesterday with the mustard greens rice from Good Taste eatery with some char siew and some siew yuk.

4.40 pm - ordered these two Dan jor rice for the elderlies to be delivered directly to them. Luckily the extraong promo code is still available so managed to get MYR 10 off.

I have been staying at home from Monday till Thursday. My friends recommend this drama series for me to watch. It is available on ntflx. There are about 50 episodes. I wonder should I watch it.

Three again

I dislike washing broccoli.

Because of the tiny bits of broccoli floating in the water after that.

I don't want the bits of broccoli to go down my sink so I removed them by using a sieve.

6  pm Dinner - food panda delivery during lunchtime from Restoran Formosa, kuchai lama. The tub on the left contains braised tofu puffs MYR 4 ala carte while the tub on the right which is included in the set D1 contains one braised egg and braised tofu puffs. I ate half the broccoli raw and steamed the remaining broccoli for 15 mins which is too long. Next time would just steam them for 10 mins.

Lunch - Nasi tomato with ayam masak merah from Pak Ali Selera Kampung, kuchai lama. The Nasi tomato is far from our favourite Nasi tomato in a canteen in Penang 28 years ago. This is basmati rice with tomato taste only, not spicy. The gravy of the ayam masak merah is full of tomato taste, is on the sweet side and only a tiny bit spicy. Can you spot the aluminum roll hiding behind the box? The two roti canai are rolled inside it.

I like the cold satay beef burger the previous time so I bought two A&W burgers and kept them in the fridge.

Pak Ali Selera Kampung's bill is about MYR 15.

The A&W burgers cost about MYR 22.
