Salted Egg pan mee

On Monday 8.june.2026, my mission is to eat the new salted egg pan mee by super kitchen chili pan mee Sri Petaling but it only opens at 8.30 am which is considered late by my spouse.

We couldn't find a parking lot near Thong Kee but found one near sunny Republic so decided to eat breakfast at sunny Republic instead.

7.35 am - he ordered chicken hor fun.

7.37 am - cham, soft boiled eggs and kaya margarine toasts MYR 8.90 nett

7.42 am - I ordered salt grilled salmon rice MYR 15 nett but the rice is not ready yet because it is too early so they have me a MYR 3 discount so I paid MYR 12 nett only.

30 minutes to wait till 8.30 am so we ate ice cream in family mart 

8.11 am - promo price for two ice cream about MYR 5.90

8.14 am - he ate the chocolate fillings while I ate the vanilla fillings. Acceptable

8.42 am - he pointed out that the bacon bits should be chicken bacon bits since it says pork free

Ah Buuuuiii 🐈‍⬛ has a strange way of drinking water. He would sleep near his bowl of water, slowly tap the water and then lick his paws. Keep tapping the water and keep licking his paws.

More salty then sour. I prefer the opposite.

Why Closed

 On Friday 21.nov.2025, went to C Plus Coffee in pinnacle condo at 9 am but it was closed, wonder why. We then went to Nam Heong and Yee Lok for food.

9.18 am - breakfast set toast, eggs and hot coffee O less sweet MYR 5.90+ Next time must state no sugar at all cos even when less sweet, after I drank the hot coffee ☕, I feel as if all my teeth are coated with sugar.

9.28 am - ham cheese toasts MYR 5.90+

I don't know why they put lots of mayo inside this ham cheese toasts and I don't like to eat lots of mayo so no next time.

After that, in the midst of walking to Soon Hing for more food, he decided to stop at Yee Lok to eat pan mee noodles soup and roast meat.

Soy Kid Mega Mendung

On Friday 22.aug.2025, went to Pearl Point again as Big supermarket is having buy 1 get 1 free pork patty promotion starting today so he wanted to buy some. Pearl Point and pearl shopping gallery is connected by an enclosed air conditioned walkway aka bridge.

10.41 am - he ordered this pan mee noodle which I ate whatever he wasn't able to eat. I ordered the cold coffee C kosong which I took home to drink.

He saw this promo online from 22 Aug to 25 Aug so he quickly went to this supermarket at Pearl Shopping Gallery and bought two sets on day 1. After buying the items we wanted at two supermarkets, we went to buy soy puddings aka tofufa from soy kid desserts nearby.

12 noon - bought takeaway 3 tubs at MYR 16 nett.

*** Frozen waxberry ***

12.11 noon - saw this frozen waxberry packs 300g each in jg supermarket so bought one pack to try. Price after discounts is about MYR 9

12.13 noon - there are 20 frozen waxberries inside the pack.

 

12.27 noon - frozen waxberries and seeds aka pits. Cold sweet sourish taste. Refreshing but not as tasty as fresh waxberries.

*** Double Churned SCS Butter ***

He doesn't eat dairy products because he says after eating them, he felt his throat seizing up slightly but there are some brands of salted butter that he will eat when the butter is spread on toasts. One of them is SCS salted butter. 

Recently he started eating a new block of SCS salted butter and immediately told me that the taste has changed, it is too milky so he couldn't eat it. When we compared the packaging of this butter to the previous packaging, we found the difference.

The SCS salted butter that he found to be too milky is still NZ butter but double Churned and packed in Australia. So next time when we buy SCS salted butter, we need to look carefully at the packaging to ensure that it is packed in NZ and is not double Churned butter.

He bought red malabar spinach and spring onions a few days ago and it is time to cook them before they wilted.

2.50 pm - he cooked the red malabar spinach with frozen pork celery sui gao dumplings. He ate half and kept half in the fridge.

McVitie Jaffa Cakes

On Tuesday 19.nov.2024, I suggested to him to go back to Fei Fei because it is near and yesterday he thought of eating curry ribs wanton noodles so we could eat it today.

Thursday 14.nov.2024 1.43 pm - 4x10 Jaffa cakes in one long box MYR 45.90 nett bought from the food merchant supermarket PBJ.

8.41 am - no pork ribs curry today, just curry chicken so he ate curry chicken wanton mee.

8.47 am - 2 soft boiled eggs and only one iced drink cham for both of us to share.

8.55 am - I ordered less hand torn pan mee in tomato soup and added one hard boiled egg MYR 14.50 nett from the same stall that I bought yellow wine chicken rice from yesterday. Passable.

9.29 am - Then he walked to the new eatery Hui Ong Coffee Shop next to Print Lab and bought roast duck MYR 10 nett and sweet spicy sour mustard vege MYR 6 nett.

2.11 pm - duck MYR 10 nett spicy sour sweet mustard leaves MYR 6 nett 

2.14 pm - he cooked the last remaining pack of instant noodles and ate them dry with the mustard leaves and duck and kept the remaining duck meat in the mustard leaves gravy and store in the fridge.

3.32 pm - I ate the red bean bun from yesterday 

4.29 pm - I also ate all the frozen but still scoopable pistachio Sofuto which has a somewhat oily taste that I can't get rid of from my mouth. I wouldn't know that the flavour is pistachio if they didn't print the label pistachio.
