9.28 am - he ordered pork Yimi in soup MYR 9 nett and two braised eggs for me.

Hot cham and cold coffee MYR 6.20 nett, both drinks are not in the photo.

1.34 pm - I ate the two braised eggs at home with frozen rice from Monday 30.march.2026 which is 3 days ago.

2 pm - I ate the rice in its frozen state. Very crunchy and cold 🥶

They use less yellow wine this time so not much alcohol taste.

After that, at home, I continued finishing up the frozen rice and then ate 4 slices of wholemeal bread with peanut butter.

Coffee 9th Promo 90 cents

On Wednesday 9.april.2025, we went to Aeon Maluri because 9 kopitiam has a promo for 90 cents iced coffee on 9th of every month.

9.47 am - all shops and eateries in aeon Maluri only open at 10 am so after parking the car at aeon Maluri, we walked to eat some food at nearby coffee shops.

9.59 am - he ordered misua pork mixed soup noodles MYR 9 nett. He says the items are cut to small pieces which he prefers larger pieces. My Portion above. I like this misua because it is the non salted type of misua and very soft so they are very suitable for me. The broth is garlic type of pork broth with a heavy garlic 🧄 taste in the soup.

10.06 am - a set of kaya butter toasts, eggs and hot cham MYR 5.50 nett only

10.11 am - customers control the duration of eggs in the hot water so as before we let the eggs stay in the hot water for about 7 to 8 minutes so the yolks are almost fully cooked. He prefers runnier egg yolks so next time just 2 to 3 minutes.

10.19 am - walking back I saw these two eateries: Tea Young Kopitiam and Sansui tofufa. Sounds good, maybe one day will try them.

10.21 am - laVile service apartments rental or sale number to call. Maybe when very old, may need to sell own house and rent a unit here to just walk to Aeon Maluri daily for food.

11.11 am - my portion. Curry gravy tastes good, not that spicy. Chicken meat is passable

On Sunday 5.may.2024, ate at 3 places. Today he bought 4 egg tarts MYR 10.80 and 1 char siew bao, 3 yumai, 3 siew mai MYR 10.20 for the elderly and the elderly's 3 friends who dropped by with fruits.

9.18 am - new item on the menu, white curry noodles.

9.27 am - my portion after he mixed the chili paste into the white soup. Very fragrant herb curry broth. Tasty! 😋 

9.16 am - his coffee and half boiled eggs. Total price for 3 items is MYR 20.80 nett.

10.24 am to 12.20 noon - my iced long black coffee MYR 11 nett and my slice of triple chocolate cheesecake MYR 18 nett. Total MYR 29 nett. The hub is the cafe for very good coffee. 👍

Errands Day

On Monday 25.sep.23, we did errands: buy meds for the Elderlies from the hospital, buy fish essence for the Elderlies because they informed us that they are reaching the last few bottles and requested us to replenish their stock.

9.53 am - as the car park was full due to a workshop, he dropped me off to buy the meds. Handed in the prescription list to Farmasi NF and waited for the meds.

10.10 am - this coffee chain is everywhere.

10.13 am - self service vending machine for tasty affordable sandwiches, bread and drinks from Family Mart.

10.14 am - saw these posters. Please have patience and be kind to medical personnel and all people working in the hospital even in times of desperation and emergency.

After the hospital, went to Aeon Maluri to buy fish essence drinks for the Elderlies.

11.11 am - eh, where is the chicken? Checked the order chit and discovered that the wrong code is written. Wanted fried chicken leg nasi lemak but wrote the code for basic nasi lemak so asked if can change to nasi lemak fried chicken by just giving us the chicken and change the price to the price of nasi lemak fried chicken but the waiter says no, must order add on so we ordered curry chicken add on MYR 9.9++

11.11 am - breakfast set A MYR 10.90++ for coffee, eggs and kaya butter toasts. I ate the butter kaya toasts and he drank the eggs.

11.13 am - 3 butter strips on kaya on toasted bread.

11.15 am - the add on curry chicken.

Total price MYR 32.65 nett.

Bought two boxes of fish essence for the Elderlies MYR 60 nett total.

12.19 noon - wait out the lunch traffic by having Monday cake coffee set MYR 14.90++ which is MYR 17.30 nett to share by 2 of us. I select a cup of hot long black and a slice of dark chocolate cake which is very tasty.

1.54 pm - bought a tub of strawberries MYR 12 nett on our way to the car park because the seller is very friendly and keep giving us samples of strawberries to try.

On the way home, gave the Elderlies their meds and fish essence.

Moccona Indulgence

On Monday 11.jul.22, went to PJ to pick up some guppies. Wanted to buy food from Sun Fatt Kee coffee shop in Seapark PJ but couldn't find a parking spot due to it being a public holiday so it seems like everyone is there in Seapark pj. Ended up, went to O&S coffee shop instead to buy takeaway.

Bought moccona Indulgence to try since PH says it is tasty. Robust taste. He says it has western coffee taste so is nice.

6 pm - dinner of roast chicken and siew yuk MYR 10.50 nett. I ate one quarter portion. Pork Noodles mihun soup MYR 8 for the next day's breakfast.

Pak Kopi Food Truck Taman Desa

 On Sunday 16.jan.22, we went to Taman Desa to buy takeaway food.

Bought 4 types of drink from a coffee truck in Taman Desa. Total price is MYR 17.60 nett.

Our brunch. 3jc noodles and economy rice from tuck tuck tei coffee shop. I chose pumpkin, bitter gourd, broccoli+cauliflower, egg tofu, one hard boiled braised egg, sweet sour pork and a small portion of rice for MYR 10 nett.

This is the 3jc stall at Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop. I bought 3 packs of regular portion noodles from it at MYR 7 nett each. Taste fine.

Tian Fang Puchong Jaya

 Drinks Tasting Day.

Six types of drinks. This is similar to wine tasting except no wine here but permutations and combinations of tea, coffee, white coffee and cocoa drinks. 😋

All the drinks are not that sweet and the milk used does not have an over powering milky taste so the fragrance of the tea, coffee or cocoa are not covered by the milk taste. These drinks are suitable for those persons who don't like milky taste.

Our order on grabfood delivery. Peniagakecil promo gave us a discount of MYR 5 nett from the delivery fee of MYR 10 nett.

This is the fried chicken in the fried chicken coffee set. It is a boneless chicken chop made from a whole leg of the chicken with crispy peppery coating and juicy tender meat. Highly recommended.

Top: chocolate banana swiss roll at MYR 16.50 nett. 

Bottom: Nanyang coffee swiss roll at MYR 17 nett. Their prices are higher than RT Pastry swiss rolls because these two swiss rolls are denser and heavier.

He can eat both swiss rolls because the cream used are non dairy creams without any milk taste. He prefers the chocolate banana swiss roll due to the fresh banana in the middle of the roll and crunchy chocolate balls similar to the texture of maltesers chocolate balls being embedded throughout the swiss roll.

Into the fridge they all go to wait for our tummies to have space for them again.

The packing checklist by Tian Fang Cafe in Bandar Puchong Jaya. Efficient service as it took less than one hour from the time we placed the order to receiving our items.

*** Tian Fang Partial Menu ***

This Tian Fang has many main dishes such as nasi lemak, Mee Siam, pasta, hainanese chicken chop on their menu but here I will just show the part of their menu with the items that are in my order.

I ordered the fried chicken with coffee set. The price charged is MYR 1 higher for the packaging I believe or because I chose Large portion for coffee. When I copied the screen, it was earlier than their opening hours so I get the messages "This restaurant is temporarily closed" and "unavailable" in the screen above. The distance is 14.8 km away from my place.

Of the 4 available swiss rolls in the list, I ordered two of them.

Of the 7 non soft drinks on the menu, we ordered 6 drinks to taste.

The drink that we didn't order is Teh Tarik.

*** Sepetang Nasi Lemak Day ***

Sunday is our Sepetang Nasi Lemak day. This coffee shop only allows 3 customers to queue for the nasi Lemak inside the shop. If you are customer number 4, you need to queue outside the shop and go in only when one customer is done with the order and exits the coffee shop.

This is my usual nasi lemak with a small portion of rice at MYR 7 nett. The bittergourd, soyknot and egg tofu are from the chap fan below.

I also bought chap fan takeaway from Tuck Tuck Tei economy rice shop a few units away from Sepetang coffee shop. This chap fan aka economy rice costs MYR 7.50 nett with one pork chop, bitter gourd, soy knots, egg tofu and a small portion of rice. Two of us shared this rice dish as dinner.

*** Are You Ready for Full Lockdown ? ***

After seeing the long queues at various supermarkets in online photos and videos, I placed an order for delivery from Aeon Supermarket in Taman Maluri to be received on Sat 29.may.21 between 5 pm to 7 pm. Unfortunately they couldn't make it on Sat so I was informed that the delivery slot for me is changed to Sun 30.may.21 from 11 am to 1 pm. 

8 minutes to 1 pm, my order was delivered without 3 items that are out of stock. I wonder will the system automatically refund the amount of these 3 items to me since they are out of stock. Will find out from Aeon customer service personnel afterwards.

The above eggs and oats are for the elderlies.

These two swiss rolls from Tian Fang Cafe and budget banana cake from Aeon Supermarket delivery are for us two.

Oops, I think I may have bought too many packs of bread and buns so will be giving away the two loaves of bread to my friend.
