Cny day 3 Found C plus Cafe

On Thursday 19.feb.2026, went to eat brunch at a new eatery called Kedai Makan Makan in Sri Petaling which opened for business on 22.jan.2026 which we found to be the previous C+ Plus coffee in pinnacle condo.

After that we walked to Wah Yuen for desserts and beef dry noodles. As wah yuen just opened today after closing 2 days for cny, all of their desserts are only available at 3 pm except for one so we just ordered that one dessert that is available with the beef dry noodles and a cold cham less sweet drink. Wah Yuen opens at 12 noon and we usually eat brunch very early at 8 am to 9 am so we won't have much chances to eat at Wah Yuen.

Daikon Ribs Belly Soup

On Friday 8.nov.2024, he ate bread and butter at home for breakfast so just went to a nearby eatery for a light lunch before he cooked daikon ribs belly soup for his early dinner. Did a pitstop to pickup some dried items for the soup.

*** DIY Daikon Soup ***

1.33 pm - part of the soup. There are more soup in the pot. Both of us love to eat the daikon in the soup.

2 pm - my early dinner of daikon, 2 ribs, mushrooms, one dried oyster, shreds from dried mini scallops and from Tuesday which is 3 days ago, 2 tea eggs from the fridge bought from Fa Lian Herbal shop oug.

I also ate half a loaf of wholemeal bread with nz salted butter which he says is too buttery for him.

He ordered a cup of hot Cham MYR 2.50 nett, took some chapfan dishes without rice MYR 6 nett and ordered one plate of petai CKT for both of us to share MYR 8.50 nett.

10.11 am - I like the petai but overall I feel this ckt is too salty for me. I will request for less salty next time.

Mrs Wife Mart Sri Petaling

On Saturday 10.sep.2022, went to Hiong Mei chapfan eatery to buy lunch for the Elderlies but it was closed due to mooncake festival I guess. So went to 126 Kopitiam to buy chapfan lunch since Golden Chopsticks coffee shop is also closed due to the festival. Walked into Farmer Grocer near Hiong Mei to buy daikon to boil with the remaining beef soup from Yang Kee bought the previous day but couldn't find any. Must be all sold out.

*** Mrs Wife Mart Sri Petaling ***

When he was buying chapfan lunch for the Elderlies at 126 Kopitiam coffee shop, I walked around the area and found this Mrs Wife Mart grocer and they have daikon so I bought 5 ripe Berangan bananas at MYR 6 per kg which will last us for 3 days.

Bought two fat daikons at MYR 9 per kg. Those who love gardening can grow their own daikon like Nancy:

Growing daikon will give a sense of achievement when eating the daikon.

Peel off all the skin.

Cut and put into a pot with the remaining beef soup from Yang Kee eatery.

Boil for 15 to 30 minutes.

*** Unbranded Mooncake ***

Bought a pack of peanuts MYR 1 from Speedmart and one double salted yolk lotus mooncake MYR 13 from 126 Kopitiam. Wanted red bean mooncakes but they were sold out.

Gardenia wholemeal bread loaves are sold out in speedmart and KK mart. Luckily found them in 7-11 else the Elderlies won't have their favourite bread.

The 4 words double yolk lotus are carved into the mooncake mould.

Cross Section. Taste is acceptable.

*** 126 Kopitiam Chapfan ***

He bought 3 packs of chapfan MYR 24 for himself and the Elderlies.

*** Eating Remaining Food ***

I have to clear food from the fridge. McD Fish filler burger without tartar sauce bought on Thursday. I like it. Next time no more tartar sauce forever.

Lai Fun from Niu Niu eatery bought on Friday which he ate on Friday itself and kept the above remaining portion for me.

This is the MYR 1 peanuts from Speedmart for the beef Lai fun because they no longer put peanuts for the beef Lai fun when they used to do so.

Ate the niu niu beef Lai fun with add ons - peanuts and daikon. Taste better with the add-ons.

He helped me eat the beef daikon noodles from Yang Kee bought on Friday.

Ruth Coconut Tarts

On Tuesday 18.jan.22, we ordered 3 deliveries and he took the food over to the Elderlies for lunch and tea.

5.49 pm - Hakka noodles as dinner shared by 2 pax. Taste is acceptable. 

12 noon - bought an assortment of pastries.

12.17 noon - coconut tart. Not too bad but I prefer egg tarts more than coconut tarts.

11.53 am - shared brunch. I like this lo Mai Kai because the glutinous rice is soft and flavourful but not too salty.

11.25 am - there are two pei Dan aka century egg siew Mai dumplings, one each. The fillings taste like chicken meat.

The above food are bought from Ruth coffee shop.

He gave two egg tarts to the Elderlies for tea time. The siew Bao has small cubes of meat in it so it is tasty. I like the taste of the kaya puff kaya fillings so I can buy more kaya puffs next time.

1.49 pm - bought 2 daikons and a bag of 11 carrots because I have remaining beef broth from pho Vietz in my fridge.

3.57 pm - cook them in water using a rice cooker without any seasonings, no salt. Didn't use the beef broth to cook and I just drank the beef broth after putting in cooked Daikin and cooked carrots into it.

Wed 19.jan.22 12.57 noon - ate them cold the next day. Naturally sweet from the carrots and daikons.
