Cheat Day

On Thursday 17.aug.2023, the elderly requested for mcd.

12.33 noon - Kai see hor fun, mcd fish burger and mcd fried chicken for the Elderlies' lunch as per their request. He scrapped and cleaned the wounds.

10.28 am - went to sunny food republic eatery. Hot cham and cold cham total MYR 6.20 nett. Double egg pancake with curry gravy MYR 6 nett.

10.21 am - chicken prawn hor fun. 

10.31 am - my portion of the chicken prawn hor fun. We ate mcd fried chicken for dinner as we bought 5 pieces in order for the Elderlies to get a drumstick and a thigh. I also bought one fish burger without tartar sauce, mix and match apple pie one drumstick for us to share for dinner.

11.13 am - there is a new eatery named Ren Ren Kuey Teow Kia where Baskin Robbins used to be.

10.59 am - Kawan Place will be opening soon to replace Sweet Hut eatery in Sri Petaling. 

McD Butter Cake

On Wednesday 1.feb.2023, we stayed home and ate one meal at 4.10 pm after our previous meal which was 24 hours ago.

2.42 pm - Butter cake and chocolate marble cake. Rich buttery taste and not very sweet. McD gets their cakes from Secret Recipe.

I replaced fries with corns and upgraded the soft drink to my favourite McD iced latte.

On Saturday 15.oct.2022, went to Golden Chopstick coffee shop to buy chapfan lunch for the Elderlies but couldn't find a parking spot so went to 126 mixed rice eatery Sri Petaling instead.

11.59 am - he bought 3 packs of chapfan lunch at a total of MYR 24.3 for himself and the Elderlies.

12 noon - remaining deep fried chicken slices in Kong Po sauce and romaine lettuce from the Elderlies' previous day dinner for his lunch because they didn't want to eat them for fear of "wind".

5.27 pm - he bought 3 packs of chapfan dinner MYR 26 for the Elderlies and himself.

No More

On Thursday 26.may.22, ordered lunch for the Elderlies and ourselves using Foodpanda.

12.09 noon - mcd burgers from McD Sri Petaling. Ordered using Foodpanda. bought shogun and samurai burgers but they are not available so McD just automatically replaced the burgers with customised burgers.

Double shogun chicken burger is replaced by double McChicken burger with a fried egg. Beef samurai burger is replaced by spicy double beef with cheese burger.

On average, one item is about MYR 17.41 inclusive of delivery. Feeling a bit pinched since the food was replaced.

Lunch for the Elderlies and him. 3 packs of prawn Mee soup from happy prawn Mee at an average of MYR 11.63 each inclusive of delivery. Tasty but one elderly says too spicy although didn't put any chili belacan sambal paste into it so will buy another type of noodles for this elderly next time.

Pandamart delivery for gardenia wholemeal bread for the Elderlies.

SOS Provide Dinner

On Wednesday 4.may.22, we just ate the food in the fridge bought on Tuesday. Then we received a message from Jakarta, kid 4 couldn't get any riders to deliver dinner to the Elderlies so we stepped up to be food providers and went out at 4.30 pm to buy dinner for the Elderlies. In doing so, we didn't eat the food in the fridge for our dinner but succumbed to temptations and bought McD for our dinner. 😜

5.30 pm - our McD dinner.

5.30 pm - McD mix and match of spicy beef burger and apple pie for MYR 6.99 which is a good price so I always buy mcd mix and match when I go to McD eateries. He requested for McD nasi lemak with fried chicken. The spicy beef is only a bit spicy in the cheesy mustardy sauce. This spicy sauce is similar to the sauce used for the McD spicy fish burger. It is not too spicy for me so it is tasty.

Total McD bill: MYR 23 nett.

Bought one portion of water cress soup, one portion of curry pork ribs and two portion of rice at MYR 20.90 nett from New Lucky eatery in Sri Petaling using Foodpanda app but the food stall seller told me that he is waiting for me to show up before packing the food so I had to wait for him. Next time I will just order there and then since both ways I have to wait. Hope the Elderlies like this dinner which we went out just to buy for them.

Subdural Hematoma

On Tuesday 5.oct.21, we made an appointment with the doctor and was briefed during the appointment that the elderly is walking around the ward independently and can be discharged immediately. Settled the remaining of 11520d75 and all 4 went home in 2 cars.

As the risk of major stroke and heart attack from blood clots is very high, has to take blood thinners so this subdural hematoma can only be monitored since no surgery can be performed due to blood thinners.

This is what life is. Will follow up more in the public hospital where the records are located.

2.56 pm - finally ate all the long forgotten McD Cempedak McFlurry from the freezer bought on Sun 19.sep.21, 16 days ago. Taste quite ok.

*** Late Lunch Dinner ***

2.02 pm - ordered food and drinks from J.S Tasty Restaurant in Happy Garden on the way home from the private hospital.

2.56 pm - I like the fried wantons although they are mainly wanton skins with only a very thin layer of fillings paste to stick the skin together for frying. There are 10 pieces in total and I ate 3 pieces.

5.34 pm - shared this meat meehoon for dinner.

6.18 pm - took out the drink from the freezer when it is on the way to be frozen to make slushy by smashing up the ice with a spoon.

6.19 pm - Passion Fruit Ice Jelly has passion fruit pulp and seed in it. It also has wobbly jelly like Ai Yu in it. From the sweet strong cordial taste, I suspect it is made from passion fruit cordial mixed with pulp from a real fruit. Won't order this again due to the cordial taste.

*** Breakfast ***

7.37 am - shared this yee Mee bought yesterday from Fa Cai eatery as breakfast. As with yee Mee noodles, it is difficult to go wrong so it is ok.

8.44 am - cut a red bean salted egg yolk mooncake and both of us ate it throughout the whole day until it is all in our tummies. This mean there is only one red bean mooncake remaining.

McD Day

 On Sunday 19.sep.21, he cooked potatoes chicken for the elderlies for dinner and got them McD fried chicken for lunch.

12.40 noon - my lunch of salmon rice bowl direct from the fridge, bought yesterday from Brew House Kuchai branch. Taste good so I will continue to buy this salmon rice bowl from them. Also ate one McD hash brown and a bit of the fried chicken.

The hash brown is so oily until the oil seeped through the paper bag.

8.57 am - my McD omelette cheese burger.

11.27 am - use shoptoday promo code to buy 11 Nestle chocolate ice cream cones to stock up for him.

Rocking BBQ

On Wed 1.sep.21, we stayed home all day and didn't order any food delivery because we bought food the previous day.

Sun 29.aug.21 12.04 noon - McD BBQ sauce chicken burger. The chicken patty is fried. Bought this for him but forgot to specify no cheese so I had to eat it all. Ate it all in two seatings - lunch and dinner. The chicken is crispy and the BBQ sauce is sweet smoky and a little bit spicy. Tasty!

Wed 1.sep.21 2.10 pm - ate this McD BBQ sauce beef burger. The juicy beef patty is thicker than the one for cheese burger. The BBQ sauce is the same as the one for the chicken burger but I think it suits beef patty better so I may eat this again.

Salted Caramel Pretzel Bits

Friday 27.aug.21 is another stay at home day with 3 food deliveries: Madam Lin, AMAH and The Drawing Room Classic Afternoon Tea.

*** McD McFlurry **"

Thu 26.aug.21 4.49 pm - Top view of Salted Caramel and Pretzel Bits McFlurry. The salted caramel tastes exactly like all the salted caramel that I have eaten before; salty, yummy rich caramel taste, sweet. 

The pretzel bits serve as the chewy bits instead of almonds or macadamia that usually go with salted caramel to give the chewy texture. The solid heavy taste of the salted caramel covers the sweetness of the base vanilla ice cream so they go well together. A must try for those who love the taste of salted caramel and don't mind the stickiness.

Thu 26.aug.21 4.49 pm - the McFlurry is still in pristine condition after being in the freezer for about 32 hours. I found out that frozen McFlurry is still soft enough to be scooped out easily by a spoon.

On Wed 25.aug.21, I bought 2 Chempedak and 1 Salted Caramel Pretzel McFlurries so now I still have one remaining frozen Chempedak McFlurry to enjoy. Most likely will eat it on Sun.

11.51 am - the packaging.

12.06 noon - I made a request for no sambal but they still include the sambal by putting it in a small plastic bag. The curry tastes good. The ayam berempah has less rempah bits coatings compared to previously but still is yummy. Remaining curry kept for next meals. I ate 6% of this meal only because I was eating my tea items so basically this is his lunch.
