On Sunday 15.march.2026, went to Taman Segar Cheras for food and we were supposed to wait there till 10 am to buy guppies but changed plans so didn't wait.

On Wednesday 21.jan.2026, went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling early at 7 am for breakfast because need to be home to receive delivery of frozen precooked cny food and redeemed Elba item.

The ramen stall is no longer operating in this coffee shop.

9.49 am - hot cham less sweet, eggs and kaya butter toast MYR 8.50 nett. They have made improvement on the kaya butter toasts so it tastes good 😋 

9.49 am - chicken strips prawns hor fun MYR 10 nett. They gave a lot of hor fun so I took a while to eat all the hor fun.

Best Bone Soup

On Sunday 2.nov.2025, went to Hog kitchen by hk pork noodle Sri Petaling for omad because on weekends they open earlier at 9.30 am instead of 10.30 am on weekdays.

10.10 am - I drank all the soup of the bowl of pork items without noodles which is the bigger bowl with more lettuce. The bone soup is tasty 😋 and I don't feel thirsty after drinking the whole bowl of soup so confirm no msg. It has pork slices, livers, stomachs, intestines, clumps of minced pork, deep fried lards, all for MYR 23+

The smaller bowl has the same items with very thin yee mee MYR 16+ 

He also ordered a hot honey goji drink MYR 5.50+

Total MYR 44.50 + MYR 4.45 eq MYR 48.95 nett

With just this meal, I completed my meals for this day.

On Sunday 27.jul.2025, he chose to eat brunch at hog kitchen Sri Petaling which opens at about 10 am so we went to yit char kaw kaw Sri Petaling to eat toasts and then waited in family mart for hog kitchen to open.

10.48 am - my portion. I drank all the soup. After this meal, I completed my omad and only drank plain water until bedtime.

3 Visits in a Row

On Friday 20.dec.2024, early morning went to Lou Ban Cha Don Mega Mendung for the 3rd time in 3 consecutive days for brunch to try the pork noodles.

After that, we ate brunch 2 of chapfan no rice and chicken rice at kedai Kopi chin wan nearby within 2 minutes walk. Then brunch 3 of coffee drinks and chicken prawn hor fun at Wong Zhi Noodle House Desa Petaling after passing items to my friends because this ipoh kai see hor fun is said to be from the same franchise as our favourite Ipoh Kai see hor fun in thong Kee and sunny republic.

7.49 am - what a unique bowl with a divider in the middle.

For the pork noodles, he chose two types of soup: spicy Thai soup and spicy sourish golden soup. He chose hor fun mixed with mihun as the noodles and they put hor fun on one side and mihun on one side. 😂 

We shared this bowl of noodles. It was way too flavourful for me that I almost couldn't breathe when I drank both types of soup, too spicy 🥵 🔥 and salty with slight sourish taste. The livers are cut into small thin pieces but are way too hard for my weak teeth.

He also ordered a hot Cham drink and MYR 1 soft boiled 2 eggs. I didn't order any food but just ate the pork noodles that he ordered.

7.49 am - the pork noodles stall. There are 4 types of soup: spicy Thai soup, spicy sour golden soup, original soup and original soup with wine. Can choose any two types of soup for the two soup bowl of noodles.

9.05 am - bought a tub of big tambun pastry MYR 11 nett and one roll of medium tambun pastry MYR 4.80 nett.

Noticed that the coffee shop has brought in all the stalls from the sidewalk. Was told it has been one month when I asked.

The wanton noodles trotters stall is no longer there or rather I couldn't find it within the 3 shoplots. Saw a Thai style trotter rice stall and bought takeaway siew 2 portion of trotters x MYR 23 nett without rice and 2 braised eggs x MYR 2 nett. Just accept a bit of gravy and a bit of salted vege. Total MYR 30 nett.
