Red Beans

On Tuesday 20.oct.2026, my objective is to eat red bean tong Sui at Teochew cuisines because their red bean tong Sui is not very sweet and there are lots of red beans in it. Then because we were later than usual, golden chopstick's chapfan dishes were available so we ate chapfan before the red bean tong Sui.

I wanted to eat red bean tong Sui because at 4 am this morning, I suddenly have a taste of red beans in my mouth so I feel like eating it. 😋

After this meal, we walked to teochew cuisines eatery.

10.03 am - The red bean tong sui aka  sweet soup is MYR 1.90++ when ordered with a dish from the breakfast menu. The dish I ordered is mee Siam with pork slices curry MYR 16.90++

Total MYR 20.15 nett.

I like the red bean sweet soup here because it is just mildly sweet with lots and lots of soft big red beans.

There is a 2nd bowl of red bean tong sui which is foc because he did a review online. He requested for barley tong Sui but they gave him red bean tong Sui in error. Since it is free, we just accepted it.

After this meal, he walked to Ye Tian Bak Kut Teh to buy takeaway bkt and chicken feet.
