On Friday 23.oct.2026, need to attend an appointment at 10.30 am in uptown so he woke up at 4 ish and I woke up at 5 ish. We then started early at 6.27 am 🚙clock, passed tmn desa entrance at 6.32 am to join a bumper to bumper crawl which is not too bad a congestion when joined fed hiway at 6.38 am. Didn't use toll, pass thru sec17, ttdi, uturn. Reach uptown at 7 am.

Parking fees starts at 8 am, only 80 cents for one hour. Paid till 10 am.

7.44 am - nasi lemak chicken, soft boiled eggs, kaya butter toasts and hot cham drink for 2 to share.

Waited in Starbucks until 10 am to walk to the car to drive to the nearby appointment.

After the appointment, we parked the car at starling mall and walked to this eatery for lunch.

When I told him that we are going to eat lunch at this eatery, he told me that there is a Ming Kee Porridge eatery at jalil links for quite some time now.

11.07 am - utensils in hot water in a basin

11.17 am - I drank this fruits tea MYR 5.90++ before taking this photo so it was not full. It was full before I drank it.

11.19 am - 3 combo meat MYR 38++

I selected roast duck, roast pork and bbq pork aka char siew. Taste ok, we took most of them home when we ordered takeaway soy chicken aka si yao chicken MYR 10++

11.22 am - boiled chicken lower quarter MYR 25++ and he requested for a ginger dip.

11.22 am - prawns wantons soup MYR 16.90++ without any noodles 

11.22 am - tung Hoon aka imitation s fin soup MYR 7.30++

11.23 am - braised pork ribs with lobak dry noodles MYR 14.50++

We just left the noodles because we couldn't finish then. Too full.

11.23 am - the ginger dip. This chicken is tender with thick meat 😋 

12.01 noon - shop front
