Tuesday 16.2.21 is CNY Day 5 and we are going to just stay at home the whole day.
Yesterday 15.2.21 is CNY Day 4 where we stayed at home the whole day with two food deliveries received.
3.12 pm - banana bread bought from insta wownana on Saturday which was delivered on Monday. Delivery fees cost MYR 20 Nett.A heavy loaf of banana bread made from banana, walnut and chocolate chips. Suitable for vegan because no dairy and no eggs were used. MYR 50 Nett for one loaf.3.15 pm - not my teatime with black coffee. The banana bread is soft, sweet and has no artificial flavourings.I also bought two bottles of vegan chunky peanut butter made with peanuts, coconut sugar and sea salt for MYR 9 Nett each. We ate them with bread for dinner, rich and creamy.11.30 am - Meal A - Nasi Briyani. We kept this meal in the fridge to be eaten on the next day.Meal B - Claypot braised vegetables with brown rice, stirfry nai bak and stirfry ginger with baby corns, tofu, broccoli and mushrooms. Both of us shared this meal for lunch.
With that, I completed the 11 days of 24 plant based meals as shown in the above table. The highlighted meals are the meals I bought. I didn't buy 5 meals which are creamy cauliflower, mushrooms Tom Yum, veg kut teh, mixed bean pedas and roots veg. Four heavenly queens was the compensation meal. The portions are huge with a good variety of vegetables so if I ever feel like eating lots of vegetables, I will buy these meals again.
8.18 am - not my breakfast of pork mihun bought from oink oink kopitiam on Sunday. Was given a small portion to taste. Oink oink kopitiam is open for business throughout CNY Day 1 to 15 except for CNY Day 9.
11.20 am and 2 pm - I ate these two quarters of 4 salted egg yolks mooncake which I found in the fridge on 4.Jan.21 Monday. He is not having any of it because the packaging says best before 31.10.20 so I am ok to eat them all. There is still one whole mooncake with 4 salted egg yolks in the fridge as I bought two so I have to make a schedule to eat it all before the end of feb.21 so that I don't keep it any longer.
I'm like your better half - I wouldn't eat the mooncake either. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, cos u wan to live long long long mah.
DeleteI like banana bread but none in my family do so seldom buy that.
ReplyDeleteMooncake kept in fridge for so long?? Bit I guess it is alright since it was kept cool.
Hhmmm, y no one else liked them? Not supposed to keep so long but I just couldn't put priority to eat them. So far so good, touch wood.
DeleteA combo of coconut sugar and sea salt? That's something I would want to try for sure.
ReplyDeleteDon't know whether you can taste both of them in the peanut butter or not.
DeleteI like the peanut butter you bought, sounds healthy.. coconut oil and all..
ReplyDeleteSupposed to be healthy.
Deletethe briyani set meal looks hearty...definitely my kind of meal! gosh...the mooncakes are still in the fridge?! i thought u have cleared them when it was discovered on 4 Jan....
ReplyDeleteI think you will like the Briyani meal too. Haizzzz, ate one quarter on 4 Jan n didn't get to prioritise eating them till now. Must start on clearing the one still in the fridge soon.
DeleteThe banana bread looks beautiful and delicious. I don't like banana bread with artificial flavouring.
ReplyDeleteThis one has absolutely no artificial flavourings.
DeleteThat looks like premium banana bread and peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteLuckily you stored the mooncake in the fridge!
Yes it is cos it costs MYR 50 Nett per loaf. I always store all food in the fridge.
DeleteRM50 each! *faint
DeleteHahahaha, ya but she got many repeated customers.
DeleteI will like that banana bread but RM50 per loaf is kind of expensive.
ReplyDeleteIt is very heavy and dense. After conversion the price in SGD is ok, right?
