On CNY Day 1, many eateries took the day off and were closed. We managed to find a few eateries that were opened for business so we bought takeaway from them.

Saw the normal roast duck stall with a q on cny day 1. Before cny, one whole roast duck costs MYR 60 Nett. On cny day 1, one whole roast duck costs MYR 75 Nett.
That's a surprise! Usually Chinese New Year, all closed. Not a living soul on the road, could sleep on the middle. I guess a lot of people are not going home this year, the new normal.
