Ais Kacang ice Cream

One way to stop ice cream from melting too fast is to scoop them into bowls much earlier before you are going to eat them and put the bowls with the ice cream in them into the freezer for more than 4 hours. This way when we eat the ice cream, the bowl would be very cold and help keep the ice cream from melting.
This Nestle ais Kacang ice cream is not very sweet so it is ok to eat it with not-very-sweet-cookies to give it different texture.

Put in pecans and walnuts too because we don't have peanuts. He suggested putting in cincau to give it texture and for it to be more like eating ABC ice.

Ais Kacang ice cream - left to right - corn, coconut and red bean. Not very sweet, just sweet enough. The taste is light too, just enough to know that it is corn, coconut and red bean.

Ais Kacang flavours - corn, coconut and red bean. Would be nice to have corn nibblets and red beans in it.

  3. Your brilliant idea to put the bowl in the freezer for 4 hours reminds me of all the beer glasses being frozen by bar promoters to let customers enjoy chilled beer!

  4. I bought the Magnolia brand recently to make A&W rootbeer float. The ice-cream wasn't that nice so I'm wary of buying this Nestle brand. I like these flavours of corn, coconut and redbean though.

    1. Long time ago I tried magnolia ice cream once. You are right, it is not as nice as walls or nestle so I never buy magnolia again. Nestle is better so I think you would be ok with it though u may find the taste not that strong.
