Accu-Chek

On Sunday 23.oct.2022, went to Taman Desa pharmacy again to buy a new set.

*** Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop ***

12.28 noon - his chapfan without rice MYR 10 with:
1. One Braised Egg
2. Soyknots
3. Napa cabbage
4. Stir fried eggs glass noodles
5. Minced pork patty

*** New Set ***

A new set MYR 110 from a different manufacturer since it is useful to own a set.

Also bought a box of Lancet MYR 42 of 102 units which means 102 pricks on the finger tips.

From AA Pharmacy.

About Two hours after eating chapfan without rice.

*** Chok Kar Chong eatery ***

5.34 pm - pepper stomach soup without rice.

Quail eggs and omelette. No idea which is which but it doesn't matter because they taste the same with chai poh inside to make them very flavourful.

Paid MYR 4.9 per month to get Grab Unlimited promo so the price is MYR 13 without tips. So worth it.

*** Ginza Sushi ***

5.38 pm - I just love to eat lightly grilled salmon.

Only MYR 14.30 without tips so more orders using grabfood unlimited promo means it is more worth the monthly MYR 4.90 spent.

*** Ming Ang Confectionery Sri Petaling ***

Yesterday evening, when he went to 126 mixed rice Sri Petaling, I went to De Farmer's Place a few shops away to buy Gardenia wholemeal bread for the Elderlies but it wasn't sold there. I ended up walking into the adjoining back to back shop called Ming Ang Confectionery and bought a kaya puff. I read online that this is a popular pastry shop in JB.

6.20 pm - my dessert,  bought yesterday - kaya puff at MYR 2.2 without the lemon from the salmon dish.

Thick kaya fillings and very crisp short crust pastry shell. Yummy but it is a bit on the sweet side.

  2. I bought kaya puff from Esquire Kitchen mix with other assortment pastries. After deducting from FP 'ordernow' evoucher, it is cheaper than buying from store. Their kaya puff not sweet, jst nice.

  3. Fresh salmon can be easily salted and pan-fried... should be much cheaper than eating out.

    1. I checked. Raw salmon from Aeon Supermarket is already around MYR 17 to 18 a piece cos must be salmon and not trout. Might as well save the trouble and smell of cooking it at home by ordering salmon delivery when got promocode cos that is around MYR 14 including delivery and it is already cooked so save the house kitchen from smelling like raw salmon.
