Combo Kueh Delivery

Today is Saturday 10.jul.21 Day 12 of PPN phase 1. Yesterday, we stayed home and ordered two food delivery. Again went to pass food to my friends through their gate.

Today again, is just stay home with food deliveries.

*** Fri 9.jul.21 Combo kueh ***

11.40 am - received the box MYR 45 nett of kuih that I ordered the previous day. Delivery fees MYR 20 nett by grabcar. The box is 25 cm x 25 cm so each type of kueh should be about 12 cm to 12.5 cm in diameter.

Kuih Bakar Berlauk - savoury kuih. Taste of slight curry.

Kuih Bakar Pandan. Fine texture.

Seri muka. Soft and creamy.

Bingka ubi - soft and fine texture.

We kept half of everything and pass half to my friends to try.

*** Food for the day ***

8.40 am - his breakfast of 3jc dry from ICC Pudu Food court via grabfood. I ate a bit, very strong ju yao zhar taste cos the ju yao zhar is in small pieces all over the noodles .

He selected all the food.

The add on portion of pork stomach is in such a small pack, lolx! 😅

2.21 pm - pick up Snowflake cold best seller. Ordered using grabfood with 20% off for pick-up. Shared by two.

6 pm - his dinner of zhar yuk Muk yee rice bought on Tue. I ate a bit only.

1.39 pm - MYR 8 nett off for self pickup. Total MYR 42.41 nett for 3 items from Snowflake, Kuchai Lama.

  1. I like ju yao zhar in my noodle. That little pork lard makes the difference.

    Yummy kueh. Not cheap though plus with the delivery charges but nice to support the small business and give them a try.

    1. Then you would love this dry 3jc because it is filled with fragrant ju yao zhar taste. Delivery fees are the normal rate, it is high because of the distance of the seller house. Hopefully can support the delivery person and the seller a bit la. Enjoy your weekend!

  2. The kuih bakar berlauk looks like the tray of 'kuih talam berlauk' I bought from a friend. There's such a lot of varieties of kuih! These 'berlauk' range is new to me, and I'm already a greedy-guts who like my food.

    1. They are also new to me. You would love this box of kueh I think but dunno about SE and JE. If they don't like, the you will need to eat all by yourself which is too much.

    5. Ah, you can use that bicycle exercise machine at your parents house. No need too long. 15 mins are enough to start and slowly do a bit more each week.

    1. Ah, so you have eaten kueh Bakar Pandan before. I can't remember whether I have eaten it before or not but the taste is quite familiar and tasty.

  4. I used to buy kueh bakar pandan during the puasa month when I was working. Haven't tasted kueh bakar pandan since I retired.
