Haruan Fish

On Tuesday 14.mar.2023, we went to 126 Kopitiam to buy chapfan lunch for the Elderlies and ourselves.

*** Sunday 12.mar.2023 ***

11.05 am - on our way to uptown, we stopped by SS20 Fish Head Noodle eatery for lunch. Didn't eat any noodles, just two bowls of baby spinach and 6 slices of haruan Fish for MYR 23+ each. It is really a huge portion of baby spinach but we ate them all. The slices of haruan Fish are very tasty.

11.01 am - two small tubs of green dips which is hot spicy so we only ate one tub.

11.01 am - affordable and tasty cendol MYR 4.8+ and soya pudding cendol MYR 5.3+ so both items are a must have for me when dining at this eatery.

Total price is MYR 61.70 nett which is good value for money for the food quality and quantity.

10.58 am - we ordered our items from this side order menu.

10.57 am - more items on the side order menu.

10.58 am - the desserts menu with affordable prices. I like the food here so will dine at this eatery if I am around the vicinity.

When we are done eating, he recognized a customer as Mr. Kevin Mark Low who is an architect by training and is the author of Small Projects.

10.59 am - his lunch of the remaining sesame oil chicken breast meat and tofu pok from the Elderlies' dinner the previous day and his chapfan no rice lunch from 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling.

1 pm - my omad of two chapfan dishes: broccoli at the bottom and long bean omelette MYR 8 nett from 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling.

1 pm - I also bought mihun horfun mixed beef soup MYR 13 nett from a stall in 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling. There are 2 QQ beef balls, 3 pieces of tendon, 4 to 5 pieces of beef meat and quite a lot of tripe so it is good value for money.

He doesn't want to share this beef soup with me because the beef fat taste in the almost clear soup is too strong for him. The soup has only a tiny tinge of 5 spice taste so the beef fat taste is very distinct and not covered by the spice taste. To make the beef soup taste more attractive, I ate the beef mihun horfun with bibigo kimchi.

3.32 pm - he cooked a bunch of yin choy MYR 2.5 nett that he bought from Mrs Wife Mart grocery store and fried one or two duck eggs for his early dinner. He also reheated all the remaining salted vegetables from Kam Heong Braised Duck bought on Sunday and ate them all. I couldn't help him eat the yinchoy because I was too full from the beef mihun horfun.

  2. Ah, so the side orders do not contain noodles. Good idea.
