BlackBall Kuchai Avenue

This Sunday 12.dec.21 is his turn to provide lunch and dinner for the elderlies.

12.28 noon - I noticed that the pestapanda promo code that gives up to 40% off is applicable to this BlackBall dessert shop so I quickly place an order.

For more info about this dessert shop chain:

I have been to BlackBall Sri Petaling many years ago before it closed down. The dessert is similar to Snowflake with some difference in the selection of toppings but smaller in portion so the price is lower too. Taste is just as delicious!

11.40 am - ordered one signature dessert and a self select mix and match where I select lemon aiyu jelly that is a bit sourish and refreshing and all the toppings that I like. Used pestapanda promo code for MYR 12 nett off.

Two tubs are just nice to be packed in one plastic bag.

11.45 am - ordered ckt and laushufen for the Elderlies lunch; kaya puffs and curry puffs for their tea from Thong Kee coffee shop at Sri Petaling. Used the feastkv promo code to get MYR 8 nett off.

4.40 pm - ordered dinner from Canton kitchen for the Elderlies. 2 single meals and one soup to be shared by 3 pax because he says they won't be able to finish two portions of rice so he went over to eat dinner with them. Used feastkv to get MYR 8 nett off again.
5.09 pm - Since it is going to be cny in 2 months time, better to eat some bakwa now before there is a rush to buy bakwa. Used the promo code Shopandai to get MYR 8 nett off.

  1. Less than 2 months, CNY is here. Gosh. Time flies. Yes, bakwa is a must. I prefer the bacon, with the fatty part.

  3. The Blackball desserts look very nice. My brother used to frequent the one (now closed) at Damansara Uptown but somehow I never tried it. Perhaps I could order delivery one of these days. Ah! Bakwa craze coming soon LOL! I prefer the minced one as it tastes better and is softer.

    1. Yes minced bakwa are softer and the taste is more evenly distributed. Delivery works too! The ice didn't even melt.

  4. We had one stall selling these type of sweet desserts in Aeon Big but it has closed down. Yes, I am craving for bakwa and I think I will buy some minced meat to make some bakwa to enjoy first. Prices are going up and up.

  6. Good to have smaller portions. Snowflake ones were generally too big for one person. Not hygienic to share either even pre-Covid times, unless with family members.

    1. You are a big eater so ok to eat the whole portion of snowflake ice, right? Can ask for extra empty bowls and use a common spoon to scoop out before eating if dine in. For takeaway, easier to distribute it at home to share before eating.

    1. polkapops_dessert in insta ig should be as Tasty too but I didn't try. One of the Elderlies has diabetes so shouldn't eat a lot of plain white rice.
