Hollow Sweet Potatoes Balls

Today is Friday 18.jun.21 Day 4 of 14 (2). Yesterday Thu 17.jun.21, we went on an errand within 10 km which we have postponed for a little more than 14 days  because we aim to stay at home for as much as we can.

On our way home, we stopped by Jalil Links to pick up food from Good Taste restaurant that we ordered via Foodpanda. Then I saw the food truck and I remembered PH's post about it so I bought a pack to try.

Confirm that the ball is hollow.

2 pm - Ate 6 of them in the car. He ate 4. As I like doughy food, I prefer those normal solid sweet potato balls such as those sold by youtiao.

This is the food truck selling hollow Sweet Potatoes balls parked near Good Taste restaurant. 10 balls for MYR 5 nett.

We bought two packets of soup Mee hoon from Good Taste restaurant at a total of MYR 29.58 after a pickup Discount of MYR 5.22 nett.

6.12 pm - we shared the ginger wine chicken Mee hoon. The wine is very light.

When I reached the restaurant, I saw this paper bag placed on a table outside the restaurant. After reading the paper clipped to the bag, I confirm that it contains my order so I took it and went back to the car. The bag contains the two packs of meehoon with their respective soup.

I noticed a new cafe next to Good taste. The signboard says Kopitiam only.

  3. I see most people complaining about pay for and eating air haha. I like the usual sweet potato balls. The Kawan frozen ones also good but not easy to find.

  4. I always ate at Good Taste in Taman Desa when dine in was allowed. I realised their branch in PJ is less popular and tried there once. I found the cooking and even bread toasting standard was not consistent.

I am looking forward to try these sweet potato balls again. It has been many years I didn't sink my teeth.
