Roti Telur

Roti telur - MYR1.80 to MYR 2 (price varies between eateries). Best eaten with dhal curry.

My friend ordered this glass of iced lime tea without sugar and I took a sip. To me, it tastes like the lime from Solero ice cream (green ice cream with white cream in the middle). I think they use lime essence instead of fresh lime.

    1. Brunch. No lime seeds or lime sacs inside so no fresh lime was used I guess.

  3. i seldom have roti telur, most of the time (or even all of the time) i will order two pieces of roti canai.. and yes, best eaten with the dhal (with a dollop of sambal).. but one thing not so good with the plain roti kosong is that, many places made that beforehand and only get them heated for you upon ordering..

    1. That's why my friend always order roti empat segi to get freshly made ones. Order telur because of the protein.

  4. hmmm, surely use powder or cordial to make that glass of ice lime tea.. can't even see limau at all?? hahaha.. anyway, i think probably it will taste nicer with a little bit of sugar to enhance the flavor~~ :p

    1. No limau seeds or sacs at all. Probably no fresh limau used. Adults especially aging ones should not take sugar that often.

  6. I prefer it without the egg - comes across tasting like omelette.

  8. I don't like drinks with artificial flavoring. Taste like chemicals to me.
