Early Thai dinner

We went to Thai Kopitiam again for our early dinner at 4.30pm but did not order from their set meal menu this time.

Stirfried glass noodles - MYR8.90 - with lots of squid rings and 3 small prawns. The glass noodles were soft and taste slightly sweet (due to the Thai fish sauce).

Green curry chicken rice - MYR8.90 - comes with a sunny-side up egg. Very appetizing meal on the slightly sweet side and only a little spicy.

Due to the hot weather, we ordered cendol (Thai version I guess as it comes with sweet corns) - MYR3.90 - sweet and refreshing. The two of us shared the 3 food items above but both feel very full so the next time we will just order 1 main meal and 1 dessert to share.

Thai Kopitiam,
Jln Kuchai Maju 9, Kuchai Lama
Service Charge: 5%
Govt. Tax: NA
Total Bill: MYR22.80 (2 pax)

  2. I love Thai! Any time of day. Would prefer their mango pulut though, not cendol.

    1. It is also too much for two persons - need another person to share the food with. 3 persons to eat 2 main dishes and 1 dessert.

  7. The green curry looks awesome, if only by the looks. But what's that egg doing there? I've never seen anyone serve green curry with a fried egg @.@

    1. Yes the green curry is nice. More value for the price paid to add a fried egg in.

  9. Your food pics never fail to make me hungry. I wonder what camera are you using? Your photos always turn out so sharp, so clear, crisp and enticing! You always make ordinary food look soooooo good! :)

    1. Thanks for the compliment. I am using a point and shoot Panasonic old camera. Nothing fancy. But sometimes I do post processing to make the photo sharper.
