We went to Thai Kopitiam again for our early dinner at 4.30pm but did not order from their set meal menu this time.
Stirfried glass noodles - MYR8.90 - with lots of squid rings and 3 small prawns. The glass noodles were soft and taste slightly sweet (due to the Thai fish sauce).
Green curry chicken rice - MYR8.90 - comes with a sunny-side up egg. Very appetizing meal on the slightly sweet side and only a little spicy.
Due to the hot weather, we ordered cendol (Thai version I guess as it comes with sweet corns) - MYR3.90 - sweet and refreshing. The two of us shared the 3 food items above but both feel very full so the next time we will just order 1 main meal and 1 dessert to share.
Thai Kopitiam,
Jln Kuchai Maju 9, Kuchai Lama

Total Bill: MYR22.80 (2 pax)
430pm for dinner? Not too early?
ReplyDeleteEarly but not too early because when we finished eating it is 5.30pm already.
DeleteHuh? Didn't get hungry around 9pm or 10pm?
DeleteDrink water lor, hehehehe.
DeleteI love Thai! Any time of day. Would prefer their mango pulut though, not cendol.
ReplyDeleteI like mango pulut too!
DeleteI love your first and second dish already.. I love sotong.. If butter sotong lagi best..
ReplyDeleteI prefer salt and pepper sotong - jiu yim sotong.
DeleteIndeed very early dinner at 4.30pm. Haha. I like glassnoodles. Some more a seafood glass noodle. This look good.
ReplyDeleteYes the seafood glass noodle is quite nice though a bit sweet.
DeleteThe food looks good leh, Mun... Yes, heavy meal for me too if I were to finish it by myself.. I need to share with someone so that I can get to taste more "goods!" :)
ReplyDeleteIt is also too much for two persons - need another person to share the food with. 3 persons to eat 2 main dishes and 1 dessert.
DeleteI was looking for the pic of cendol... :p
ReplyDeleteThe cendol green bits are all hidden under the ice.
DeleteThe green curry looks awesome, if only by the looks. But what's that egg doing there? I've never seen anyone serve green curry with a fried egg @.@
ReplyDeleteYes the green curry is nice. More value for the price paid to add a fried egg in.
Deleteyummy food...not that pricey from what i see
ReplyDeleteI think price is ok too.
DeleteYour food pics never fail to make me hungry. I wonder what camera are you using? Your photos always turn out so sharp, so clear, crisp and enticing! You always make ordinary food look soooooo good! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment. I am using a point and shoot Panasonic old camera. Nothing fancy. But sometimes I do post processing to make the photo sharper.
DeleteOh I see... I'm using an old Panasonic too but I don't edit my photos so that's the difference hehe ;)
Delete:)
