Soup Restaurant

Signature Dish - Samsui Ginger Chicken (Small portion) - MYR39.90 - Boneless chicken meat with smooth skins. Supposed to be wrapped with the lettuce provided with a spoonful of ginger dip. If you love to eat ginger and chicken, you would love to eat this dish.

Ah Kon Ginger Fried Rice (Small portion) - MYR17.90 - this fried rice has more ginger in it. If you want less ginger, you should order the Ah Por Ginger Fried Rice. We also ordered one bowl of plain rice - MYR2.20 to share.

Ah Kon Fan Shu leaves (Small portion) - MYR15.90 - stir fried with belacan. We requested it to be less salty and it was. If you prefer the sweet version, you could order the Ah Por Fan Shu leaves.

Double boiled Wai San and Ginseng soup  - MYR17.90 - tasty soup.

Beggar Bowl Rice with minced pork - MYR9.90 - the minced pork may look a bit raw but it is fully cooked.

Store front with a queue

This is the only outlet in Malaysia. Towels cost MYR1 each.

  1. Huh? Is this new, or am I outdated on this again? I thought this restaurant only exist in Singapore. My default lunch place when I transit in Changi Airport.

  5. Aih? This is in 1-Utama? Did not notice it before. The chicken is kinda pricey but I guess that's they way it is with such restaurants. As long as the food is good, it is worth the indulgence!

    1. Yes, in 1-Utama, next to Paparich. I think the price is still cheaper than going to Singapore to eat this dish at the same Soup restaurant.

    1. This is the branch. There are many branches in Singapore that I am not sure which one is the main one. I used to eat the samsui chicken in Soup Restaurant in Suntec City back in 2004 so I am happy to see a branch here in PJ.
