hmmm, nice combination!! soup ones with chicken and dry ones with duck.. both looks good to me.. whether soup or dry, really depends on my mood at that moment..
i wonder if you have them at the same place?? i mean the price is so much different, RM5.50 vs RM12.. anyway, i always have charsiew wanton and never thought of having chicken or duck when i have wanton noodles, me so traditional huh?? :D
I prefer the soup one most of the times, dry one is ok too occasionally, just that have to be very careful cause the sauce will kena the clothes, haha!
I love dry + a bowl of soup on the side. I will have half on dry, and another half dipped in spoonful of soup with all those dark soy sauce goodness. It is a family thing, I think only my family does it, my friends all think it is kind of gross :P
I want to try a bit of the above! :) I like duck meat actually... either roasted or stewed with lots of ginger.. yummsss!
ReplyDeleteI like the duck meat actually but not the dark sauce that is a bit too much.

ReplyDeleteSo you like both but at different times. :)

ReplyDeleteYou are right to wonder because they are not from the same stall. :)
Deleteand give me high five!! you are also breast meat lover?? hehehe.. yeah, same here, i love the breast meat.. hate thigh the most~~ :p
ReplyDeleteYay! You got that right! :)
DeleteI prefer the soup one most of the times, dry one is ok too occasionally, just that have to be very careful cause the sauce will kena the clothes, haha!
ReplyDeleteTrue. The sauce is difficult to get off.
DeleteI prefer dry for wanton noodles. Soup will be too bland for me unless it's curry noodles or assam laksa I'll slurp slurp the soup until dry!
ReplyDeleteYou are like Princess Ribbon, she also does not like bland soup.
DeleteSoup or dry? First thing that comes to mind: If soupy, then it has to be pork mee or pan mee.. If dry, then it has to be wanton mee.. hehe..
ReplyDeleteYou are so special, got preference for soup or dry based on different type of mee.
DeleteI prefer dry, And I see you have got lots of pickled green chillies with it!
ReplyDeleteYes the pickled green chillies I like!
DeleteI love dry + a bowl of soup on the side. I will have half on dry, and another half dipped in spoonful of soup with all those dark soy sauce goodness. It is a family thing, I think only my family does it, my friends all think it is kind of gross :P
ReplyDeleteWhy is it gross? I think it is ok but not for me. It is like drinking dark sauce soup only.
DeleteThat's my favorite part, the soup with dark sauce.
DeleteAh so you like to drink soup with dark sauce. :)
DeleteI dont mind trying both but still prefer the soupy type. They put too much soy sauce in the dry noodle.
ReplyDeleteYa, too much sauce!
DeleteAny one will do...but hot days, I prefer it dry.
ReplyDeleteOk so the soup is hot so on hot days better not eat the soup version.
DeleteGimme both. I can finish :)
ReplyDeleteAs one meal?
