Choc Mint Sofuto FM

On Sunday 17.sep.2023, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil for food and shopping since it is off-duty Sunday.

*** Choc Mint Sofuto Family Mart ***

2.07 pm - on the way back, stopped by Family Mart for the new Sofuto flavour of chocolate mint. Paper cup portion MYR 4.90 nett shared by the two of us. We added cocoa nibs to it to enhance the taste. The choc mint taste is delicious! Feels as if eating chocolate mint chocolate bars that are cold.

*** Samy and Min BKT 8th Avenue ***

There are many new eateries in Pavilion Bukit Jalil and I have an ambitious plan to eat at many eateries but after breakfast 1 at Oriental Kopi and breakfast 2 at Burger King, I am too full for any more food so there goes my plan.

1.13 pm - so before we went home, he ate his early dinner and as I couldn't eat anymore food, I bought two bowls of bkt for him: soft bone MYR 19.9++ and trotter MYR 17.9++ without any rice. I just drank the last one mouthful of bkt broth because he was too full after eating these two bowls.

1.29 pm - total price MYR 40.05 nett. Carnivores must use more 💰

*** Oriental Kopi ***

Ate breakfast 1 here because it is one of the eateries opened for business this early in the morning at 9 am.

9.31 am - breakfast 1: my butter kaya toasts MYR 4.9++ and his hot cup of coffee MYR 6.4++

9.34 am - our favourite chicken mihun MYR 16.9++ but we didn't eat much of the sambal which is wasted on us. Total for breakfast 1 is MYR 32.7 nett.

*** My Shopping Spree ***

11.27 am - I require a pair of glittery shoes for a formal function and will most probably wear them only once so I was quite pleased to find this pair at a promo price of MYR 39 nett for the display pair of size 36 which fits my feet snugly. Bought them.

11.30 am - Then I saw this comfortable pair of shoes, also glittery, also MYR 39 nett promo price for the display pair size 38. A bit loose but still ok so I bought them too just in case that day my feet feel like wearing loose shoes.

11.35 am - then I fell in 💕 with the floral pattern of these display bags at 50% off. Luckily they are produced from human-made material so I am not using any living beings skins so I am ok to buy them. I have been using fabric bags for many years now. Buying this bag solely for the flower design.

Smallest is sling bag - MYR 239.95 nett

Medium is tote bag  - MYR 249.95 nett

Largest is shoulder bag - MYR 259.95 nett

I like tote bags but I would like it to be able to contain a small bottle of drinking water.

11.48 am - both looks ok. I checked both of them, both display bags are in good condition so which bag can you guess that I bought?

12.24 noon - bought one affordable almost translucent chiffon shawl MYR 19 nett in case I get cold during the function. I didn't want to spend too much on a silk shawl MYR 199 nett when I am just most likely be using it once and if it is real silk then the producers of the silk need to be eliminated to get the silk.

12.54 noon - bought this brooch MYR 19 nett for fun.

Burgundy?

He bought a tub of olive Grove extra v olive oil spread MYR 15.85 nett from the supermarket and we bought the supermarket's recycle bag MYR 3 nett so that next time we use it, we will be able to collect loyalty points.

*** Rye Burger King ***

10.07 am - breakfast 2: I have always wanted to try this Rye Breakfast Burger King. This time I tried the most expensive bun with mushrooms egg. Next time I will try the lowest price bun with onions egg.

10.15 am - all these food are mine because he isn't eating any of them:

1. Mushroom egg rye bun set MYR 11.20 nett

2. Top up MYR 1 nett for iced drink instead of hot drink. I select long black coffee which I drank all.

3. Ala carte fries MYR 4.9 nett which I brought half home

4. ALA carte raw vegetables MYR 4.9 nett which I ate all. I didn't know that the vege would have tartar sauce. Next time will request them to omit the tartar sauce. I ate all the raw vege and raw tomatoes with almost all the sourish tartar sauce as not to waste them.

After eating the whole rye bun, raw vege, drank all the iced coffee and kept the fries, I wiped clean the plastic fork, vege container and drink container. Then took them to the washroom to wash and then discard them into the plastic recycling bin provided by the mall. Just doing a little bit for future generations as I saw many families bringing their very young children to this mall on Sunday.

10.23 am - The Rye Bun Top is very brown.

10.28 am - I like the taste of the thick fluffy egg and coarse rye bun so I will buy ala carte rye bun with onions egg next time.

I am so very full after breakfast 1 & 2 that I couldn't eat any food after that. When home, just ate some family mart choc mint ice cream and that is all for the day.

12.31 noon - saw this new eatery JP & CO and after reading reviews online, will try them out on our next next visit to Pavilion Bukit Jalil as on our next visit, we will eat somewhere else that has a promotion.

1.58 pm - saw this nice luxury limo and wonder should I budget for it when I have departed?
