3 eateries 4 lunch

On Monday 4.sep.2023, we ate brunch at 3 eateries in Pearl Point and Pearl Gallery.

*** Bungkus Kaw Kaw Pearl Point ***

11.05 am - he wanted to try the nasi lemak bungkus ayam masak merah MYR 7.40 nett because he saw many people having it. The sauce is on the sweet side and the chicken meat is in small pieces. The hot cham aka coffee mix tea kaw kaw is MYR 7.50 nett. 

11.04 am - Total price is MYR 14.90 nett.

10.59 am - Bungkus Kaw Kaw eatery in Pearl Point.

*** Mr Fish Pearl Point ***

As we only have one remaining MYR 10 nett voucher we only ordered one meal to share.

This is the set lunch FM7 Mini Mix Noodle Set MYR 24.90+ that I wanted to try. I select thin mihun which is not thin at all but those curly translucent mihun often used as fish head mihun. It takes more effort to chew this curly mihun.

11.25 am - he couldn't eat the milky soup mihun because he doesn't like the taste of milk so I ate that and he ate the curry mihun. I like the milky soup because it is creamy with sourish tomatoes and salted vege in it so is quite flavourful.

11.33 am - there are only two pieces of fried fish that is not grouper fish, not tilapia, not patin. Could be barramundi but I am not sure. Taste ok.

There are too little ingredients in this meal because the bulk of it is mihun and soup so I decided we need another meal so we went to Pho vietz at Pearl Gallery which means we just walked across the air-cond bridge connecting Pearl Point with Pearl Gallery.

Paid about MYR 16 to 17 after deducting the MYR 10 voucher.

12.18 noon - we shared the above food:

1. Pork belly in coconut juice ALA carte - about MYR 25.90+ 6%st

2. Ginger lemon grass iced drink - about MYR 9.9+

3. Prawn roll - about MYR 12.9+

So the total is about MYR 51.6 nett.

On the way home, got a call from kid 1 saying the elderly fell in the bathroom so he dropped me home and went over. Luckily all is ok.
