Lunch Meet up
On Friday 14.apr.2023, he stayed home all day while my friend picked me up for a lunch meet up at KFry 1u. We, four women used to have lunch together when we were working in the same office 3 years ago before the pandemic.
11.57 am - he cooked omelette, sausages and ate them with raw kale.
11.44 am - he cooked this red onion, enoki omelette.
4.03 pm - I bought takeaway samsui Ginger Chicken MYR 45.45 nett for a small portion from soup restaurant 1u for his dinner. It includes soy sauce, ginger dip, steamed chicken, raw iceberg vege and cucumber.
4.05 pm - steamed chicken with soy sauce and ginger dip.
Soup restaurant 1u. Samsui Ginger Chicken MYR 42.90++ takeaway. Total price MYR 45.45 nett.

Good to catch up with your friends over lunch. I miss that. Haven't been doing much since pandemic.
ReplyDeleteEasy to cook when only cook for oneself. If me, I will cincai cook and eat like fried noodle, fried rice or make sandwich or pancake. Sometimes if lazy, instant noodle or salad. Hehe. But cannot since I need cook for kids as well. Lol.
It has been 3 years since we last ate lunch together. You are right that it is easy to just throw some food together for one person to eat but it is difficult to cook proper dishes for one person portion such as cook one person's portion of curry chicken because the amount is too little for the effort and resources required.

ReplyDeleteAh I recently tried that restaurant after walking past it for years. Enjoyed the food overall but won't repeat so soon since there are so many other options in 1u.

DeletePardon for the delayed responses heh. Now since this post is on the ginger chicken... yep that was the best dish in terms of taste and presentation, and there was that iceberg lettuce which made it even more special.
