On Friday 15.1.21, I received a promo code for a discount for JiPinHe so I bought their pastries again to try the Sichuan Mala Spicy Chicken Thigh pastry this time.
12.48 noon - This time they put the 4 pastries in a nice paper bag.
I only ate the mala spicy chicken thigh pastry the next day on sat 16.1.21 so that means I ate it cold directly from the fridge.
12.16 noon - The pastry texture is flaky crunchy outside and doughy in the inner layers which I like. The chicken thigh filling is spicy but not very spicy. The spiciness is similar to those of the usual curry puffs but with the taste of fragrant chili flakes.
I bought 4 pastries again and put in the promo code to get MYR 6 off the total bill so the amount paid is MYR 43.70 inclusive of delivery fees. On average, one pastry costs MYR 10.90 ish.
He ate the tomato pastry and we gave two (beef and new orleans chicken) pastries to my friend. I ate the mala spicy chicken pastry all by myself.

8.40 am - 3jc mihun soup from Choy Kei bought on wed with added 3 Bentong tofupok stuffed with meat paste and lettuce.
11.30 am - my portion of the 3jc mihun. This small bowl of mihun is the perfect amount for me.
12.30 noon - ate one Canelé delivered on wed from Burrow cafe.
12.47 noon - not my lunch of rice with pork vinegar MYR 10 bought on wed from Lucky Alley. Added coriander. I just nibbled one piece of meat, one third egg and one spoonful of rice.
6 pm - my dinner of the remaining half of the carrot pineapple cake. The cake is still moist with cinnamon taste. It is one of the better carrot cakes.
6.10 pm - my dinner of McD fries and McD ice latte. Ate all the fries but drank only half of the ice latte because I was full.
I didn't know about this free aluminum cup but they sent me one black special edition cup. I prefer the red one if given the choice.
He requested for double chocolate oreo McFlurry and mcchicken super value meal which comprises a soft drink, fries, mcchicken burger and one piece of fried chicken. That piece of fried chicken is the reason for this value meal to be renamed to include the word "Super". More than half of the food items on the above order list are in the fridge now, to be eaten on Friday.
I love that paper bag! The CocaCola cups, are they plastic? They do not look like it. I have a Pepsi one, dunno from how long ago, shaped in a World Cup (the football trophy) - plastic so I use it as a pencil holder.
