Bought this bun from 711 for MYR 2 nett on Friday 1.1.21.
Limited edition of Mighty White buns. The fillings are in paste form and made with Gochujang which is Korean red chili paste. It is spicy. For those who like Gochujang because I cannot taste any chicken or feel any chicken meat texture. Eating this bun would be solely for the taste of korean red chili paste.
Wah...new bun! But taste would be jst plain spicy without chicken.
ReplyDeleteIt had chicken inside minced so tiny that the taste covered by the chili paste.
DeleteWow! Spicy bun...need to try this especially for those who love spicy food...and korean. :D
ReplyDeleteIf u like u must try.
DeleteI have not bought those Korean mochi buns for a long long time - the place that made really good ones have stopped doing it, for reasons unknown. Can find at some bakeries, all no good.
ReplyDeleteHave not seen this one here - the current trend is the one with garlic cheese, not nice, bought once, never again.
Oh u got mighty White brand over at your side? This is just normal bun, not mochi buns.
DeleteWow!!! I must try this one. I ate them in Korea and burnt my mouth! Muahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI think u will be disappointed because this wouldn't burn your mouth. Not that level of spiciness.
DeleteI don't think I will buy if it is just to taste the spicy chili paste. Better not burn my tongue. Lol!
ReplyDeleteIt is just a bit spicy to u. Not super duper spicy.
DeleteLooks nice like a charcoal bun. Wonder if that's characteristic of a Korean bun? The McD Korean burger previously was also black. But a chilli paste bun doesn't sound good!
ReplyDeleteNot sure because I have never been to Korea. God chicken meat in the chili paste but minced so tiny that it is just paste.
DeleteWouldn't try this if can only taste the chilli paste and cannot detect the taste of the minced chicken as they are minced until too tiny.
ReplyDeleteThe chicken is blended into the chilli paste I believe.
