This time at
Wonton & Pho, I ordered stew beef noodle (soup) at MYR 16.90 nett. The soup has a strong star anise taste which I like. There are many pieces of beef and a lot of noodles so I had difficulty finishing it.
My friend ordered the clear soup beef noodle at MYR 15.90 nett which was as
tasty as before.
Interior after renovation.
Total bill for 2 pax is MYR 37.60 nett.
I prefer the clear soup version. Slurpsss!!! Looks good!
ReplyDeleteTasty so this is one of our place to eat at.
DeleteToo strong of anise I also don't enjoy much.
ReplyDeleteStrong vs Too Strong is so subjective to each individual's taste.
DeleteLooks delicious especially the one with chili oil. I find the ones at Pho Vietz also very generous with the noodles. I also find it hard to finish.
ReplyDeleteNot sure whether it is chili oil or not because it is not spicy.
DeleteWe love the clear soup version. But I would like to try the one with chili oil, looks good.
ReplyDeleteIt is not spicy so maybe it is not chili oil.
DeleteLooks good! I'd go for the one without star anise, don't like it if strong enough to smell.
ReplyDeletethe clear beef broth for you then.
DeleteWill blog about pho in my blog soon:)
ReplyDeleteYes, you ate the authentic ones in Vietnam itself! Must be delicious!
