Waiting

On Tuesday 22.nov.2022, kid 1 and him took one elderly to see a GP because the elderly requested to see a GP in hope of being prescribed a diuretic medication because soaking feet in warm water, putting feet up and massaging requires more effort than popping a pill. Unfortunately because the elderly is taking many medications now, the doctor advises to use special socks for diabetics instead of diuretics pills to help with the feet swelling.

I found this info online: "Patients taking digoxin are at increased risk of digoxin toxicity because of the potassium-depleting effect of the diuretic." When taking many medications, it is important to ensure that the medications can be taken together safely.

11.38 am - after dropping off kid 1 and the elderly, he bought 3 packs of chapfan lunch MYR 27 for himself and both elderlies from the nearby roadside chapfan stall that used to be under a big tree that has been cut down recently by the local council.

1.38 pm - Salad Atelier again.

2 pm - the small tub is the Summer Avo Salad.

2.35 pm - quarter avocado in the summer Avo salad.

This time I select lettuce, beetroot, grapefruit, sweet corn, mixed capsicum, pumpkin, sweet potatoes with no dressings. No meat because I have meat in the fridge.
I prefer to use shopeecoins to buy food rather than pay bills because food motivates me to play shopeefarm. Lolx! 😂

A MYR 5 off voucher for MYR 30 min bill which means 16% off.

Used by 31 December 2022.

2.40 pm - pulled beef brisket meat from myBurgerLab brisket burger that I bought on Friday and kept between two slices of wholemeal bread in the fridge because that burger has one beef patty too so I eat the brisket and the patty separately.

2.56 pm - the pulled beef brisket has already been seasoned with BBQ sauce on top of deep fried onions on top of a slice of wholemeal bread.

Socks for diabetics. He needs to help the elderly to put on and take off the diabetics socks because they are tight.

  1. It is unfortunate that many elderlies are prescribed with so many types of medications and some of these meds can be very costly. I am trying to stay as healthy as I can and not need to take medications.

    1. Yes, it is best not to take medications when there are other more natural ways.

  2. Most elderlies are suffering the side-effects of having to take too many medications. Wearing diabetic socks may be troublesome but better than having to pop another pill.

    1. But it is so convenient to just pop a pill like eating candies so the majority of people would prefer to just pop candies.

  3. It's tough when there are various problems to contend with.

    1. Yes lots of issues. Shopeefood should really allow both delivery discount and food discount else they lose their competitive advantages over Foodpanda.
