Yomie Matcha Yogurt Purple Rice

On Monday 4.oct.21, we sent the iPad to the bored elderly in the ward who was then transferred to a normal ward after a follow up CT scan. Was asked to hang around without knowing what time the doctor will be available. Since cases are still high, didn't hang around but went home and try to make an appointment with the elusive doctor the next day. Can't believe that this doctor still lives in the ice age and doesn't provide an option for online video calls. Still insist on talking face to face so let's pray that all of us won't get infected and there is no one to look after the elderly when it is time for discharge. Living in the ice age!

Sunday 3.oct.21 1.13 pm - Yomie Matcha Yogurt Purple Rice. The texture of the yogurt is on the foamy side. Matcha tastes authentic, no artificial flavouring, slightly bitter with green taste of raw leaves. A bit of seaweed taste. A must for matcha lovers. The purple rice is chewy, firm, not as soft as Imi purple rice. Can be eaten as a complete meal on its own.

Saturday 2.oct.21 6.44 pm - felt like drinking Imi yogurt purple rice but it is too far away so decided to order Yomie yogurt purple rice to compare. There is a 3-drink bundle promo as shown in the photo below so 3 x 500g it was.

Yummy Yammy with Taro Balls. The yogurt is in liquid form and not foamy. The Taro paste is finer than Imi taro paste and the amount is less. The taro balls is a nice addition to this drink as it provides one with some qq texture to chew on.

Buy bundle for savings.

Monday 4.oct.21 12.31 noon - ate this Yomie Yogurt Purple Rice Red Bean bought on Saturday for lunch. The texture of the yogurt is foamy. The yogurt tastes sourish. The purple rice and red bean when eaten together taste more of red bean as red bean has a stronger taste. Overall ok but I prefer to eat red beans in red bean sweet soup tong sui so there is no need to eat red bean mixed with yogurt.

Delivered in a paper bag.

Ordered  3x 500g bundle promo with add-ons so the price is MYR 43.80 and after adding in delivery fees is MYR 49.29 nett so on average a 500g drink costs MYR 16.43 nett per drink. This price can get one a more than decent economy rice lunch.

*** Monday 4.oct.21 ***

8.30 am - my portion of bitter gourd liver instant noodles breakfast.

Ordered these 3 packets of noodles early in the morning at 7.10 am but only received them at 8 am. I think this stall must have many orders to cook.

Yesterday on Sunday 3.oct.21, we ordered the food below as dinner for the elderly at home. Add in some orders for ourselves too.

Sunday 3.oct.21 4.55 pm - This Fatt Kee eatery has a more premium price but the food tastes good and is packaged nicely.

Monday 4.oct.21 1 pm - my portion of duck rice with sour mustard leaves and one date from the old cucumber soup from Fatt Kee bought on the previous day.

  1. i guess one of the reason could be these medical practitioners/doctors trying to avoid recording if they ever do consultation via online video calls. If anything goes wrong, the recording can be used against them. They wanna play safe (like our PPVs putting up restriction on video/camera).

    1. Ya, possible. But later PPV allow video and camera after the minister says ok, can allow.

  5. Probably most patients still prefer to see a doctor face-to-face.

Liver and bittergourd... not a widely appreciated combo!
