Edible Rice Straws
On Friday 15.oct.21, kid 3 took kid 1 and the elderly to their regular government hospital early in the morning at 8.30 am and all 3 of them waited for the personnel from the pace maker company to perform the annual check up on the device inside the elderly. Device battery 🔋 shows 3 years amount so no need to change it this year.
6.30 pm - received this thick robust straw from Loffi sourdough pillow bun bakery and felt that the texture is kind of special, a little bit sticky but sturdy and solid so did a google search and found this article about edible rice straws:
Bite on the straw to eat it. It is easily crushed and taste of starch. I think it is a very good idea to use edible rice straws and all eateries that serve drinks should use them.
This is a screen capture of the url article above about the edible rice straws. I just ate a tiny bit of the straw and crushed the whole straw into tiny bits to bury them in the ground for it to decompose and return to the earth.

It should be softer when mix with water, so easier to eat after finish the drink.

DeleteSome like to save ice drink to drink it later the straw was running down as well hehe.. Biodegrable is good, used to get that made of paper.
