Drunk Cat Restaurant

Monday 20.sep.21, one day before mooncake festival. Started the elderlies on home delivery meals for dinner for this whole week, 5 week days evening. The dinner meal delivered today needs to be heated up using microwave. Continued to give away foc books and pre loved items. On the way back, stopped to pick up food ordered using food panda and saw that many people are dining in at that eatery. Looks like life is back to normal.

11.51 am - we shared this lunch set from Drunk Cat Restaurant to see whether we can order this for the elderlies lunch or not. Apparently not, because although the taste is good but the sweet sour gravy is all over everywhere because the cover of the container does not fit. They won't like the messy gravy.

11.52 am - this tofu is tasty so will order it again.

Managed to use the promo code to get MYR 10 nett off.

5.45 pm - I didn't want to eat rice so I ordered pork chop from 10 Kopitiam Bukit Jalil while he has nasi lemak kosong with yesterday's McD fried chicken drumstick. The pork chop is on the dry side because they did provide mushroom gravy which I didn't eat together with the pork chop. I like the marinate of the pork chop though.

Managed to use the pickup promo code.

Beneath the pork chop is loads of fries which I kept in the fridge for another day.

  1. i dislike lunchbox with messy gravy coz it will easily kena my clothes or arm when eating....so i can imagine the elderlies will get annoyed too. How are they coping? your MIL still couldn't remember her name? Can she recognise her family members?

    1. She can remember the childrens' names already after the children talk more to her but she still finds it hard to use Astro remote control to get to the shows that she recorded on her hard disk. Don't know how to maneuver the layers of menus.

    1. The tofu is crispy outside and soft inside so is yummy! Ya, have to try out the food before ordering them for the elderlies.

  4. The pork chop looks good but I will add the gravy. You are a small eater. I will finish all the fries with none left for tomorrow. Lol!

    1. The pork chop with its marinate is very flavourful already so that's why didn't eat it with the mushroom gravy. Nowadays I stop eating when I don't feel hungry anymore.
