On Thursday 2.sep.21, we stayed home and ordered 3 Foodpanda deliveries.
2.16 pm - I bought a 9 inches cempedak pizza as dessert. Ate two slices and kept the remaining for other days.
There are real pieces of ripe cempedak on this basic cheese pizza so it is very flavourful and tasty. Can't taste the cheese because the cempedak is ripe and fragrant.
Also ordered New York chicken wings which is soft cooked chicken wings with a sauce that is quite similar to BBQ sauce. Rather like HP sauce.
Bought them from this Pizza shop in Sri Petaling. The box says that the pizza cannot be reheated in a microwave oven.
They gave a good discount. Won't be ordering durian pizza because am very satisfied with the cempedak pizza.
Fri 3.sep.21 10.07 am - ate 2 slices of cold cempedak pizza directly from the fridge. I like the thick doughy pizza crust and the taste of cempedak so they are delicious. I wonder can I just eat wholemeal bread with fresh ripe cempedak to get the same taste?
Tht's a unique pizza😆. U did not apply voucher to get more discount?

DeleteThis is new, never seen cempedak pizza before, cempedak is sweet combine with cheese and pizza dough, sure it double tasty. Look yummy.

DeleteMissed this earlier. Cempedak pizza interesting. I haven't tried US pizza although there is an outlet not that far away. My staples are Pizza Hut and Domino's (coz various people like the sides) so not on the lookout for a new brand.
ReplyDeleteAs long as the pizza tastes good, can try new brands, no issues. Sometimes pizza hut and dominos don't taste as good as some new brands here.
DeleteTrue. I do get 'gourmet' ones at cafes. But happy enough with PH and Domino's for 'everyday' pizzas. It's not actually the pizzas that are the problem but the sides. I have always liked PH deli wings. But had to cycle through various flavours of wings at Domino's, some of which we really dislike, until we arrived at the current 'Roasted chicken drummets'. So don't feel like going through this all again for another pizza brand.
