Pineapple Chicken

On Sunday 5.sep.21, we went out for a short while to pick up some food at lucky alley and choy Kei that we ordered online.

Wed 25.aug.21 - He cooked chicken herbal soup with this pack of frozen whole chicken legs. The chicken was fed with pineapple extract. Bought on Tue 10.aug.21 using Pandamart delivery. Price per pack with two deboned whole chicken legs is MYR 18.50 nett.

Wed 25.aug.21 6 pm - shared dinner of chicken herbal soup with basmathi white rice and romaine lettuce. The chicken herbal soup is naturally sweet from all the herbs, dried logan and red dates.

Mon 30.aug.21 7.30 am - using the remaining Chicken herbal soup to cook meehoon as breakfast for two pax. Delicious and nutritious!

    Does the chickens have frozen fridge 'taste'? Coz sometimes when bought frm supermarket, the frozen chicken got those 'taste' like it has been kept for too long. The herbal soup is nourishing...i wish to have it everyday😋😋

      No, the chicken doesn't have the frozen fridge taste. Means the stock can move. I like to drink this type of chicken herbal soup too cos very naturally sweet.

    Oh. Ayam Nanas?? Never seen this in supermarket over here. How the taste?? Any difference with normal chicken?

      The chicken tastes fresh although it is frozen. Chicken taste is ok, not overly strong chicken taste.

      We seldom stock up on Mee suah at home. I think it is because Mee suah is difficult to cook since it is salty so need to rinse with water after cooking and it may turn out to be too soft.

    Again, something new for me. Ayam nenas or pineapple chicken. I thought pineapple never tastes good with anything except lemak. :D

    I have seen this pineapple chicken at the supermarket. Since you have tried it, perhaps I can also buy a pack to try.

      Ya, can try. Deboned chicken legs for chicken chop is very convenient to use.

    Never tried, would like to try Pineapple chicken. Soup with basmathi rice look good.

      I think most supermarkets have this frozen pineapple chicken so you can easily find them. Yes it tastes good.
