WG Ho Li Chow

Lemak Laksa with Mee Hoon at MYR 12 nett. Very tasty with lots of spices in the creamy coconut milk (santan) broth but not hot spicy. Just like Assam Laksa, there are lots of julienned cucumber, raw onions, pineapples and mint leaves.in this bowl of Lemak Laksa.

To my surprise, I found a big piece of fish beneath the mee hoon. I requested for mee hoon (rice vermicelli) because I wanted the mee hoon to soak up all the creamy laksa broth so that the mee hoon can be softer and full of flavours from the broth. Delicious! So I finished the whole bowl including all the broth. No MSG is used because I was not thirsty at all after eating this lemak laksa.

The menu consists of only one page inclusive of drinks. Please click on the above photo to view a larger image. I will try the Lam Mee, Mee Hoon Siam and Assam Laksa next time.

Authentic Nyonya dishes from Aunty Sue's family's recipes with fresh ingredients and no MSG at all.

My friends who ordered assam laksa and lam mee are satisfied with their meals too.

Clean interior.

Ho Li Chow is the shop next to Pasar Mini at Damansara Kim, located on the same block as SS20 Fish Head Noodle eatery.

  7. That's a big piece of fish! The Petaling St laksa at the market used to have this, but I haven't been there for donkey years and not sure if it's still like this.
