Ovo vegetarian nasi lemak (MYR 9.50 nett) with one hard boiled egg, tempeh, long beans, cucumbers, sambal and vege mutton potatoes curry. The rice has strong coconut milk taste and the blue colour is from "bunga telang" - the flower of the blue-pea plant (Clitoria ternatea). As I ate one scoop of sorbet and one scoop of ice cream, I had to keep most of the nasi lemak for dinner. I believe this is one of the lowest priced vegetarian nasi lemak around.
Mixed berries sorbet goes well with dark smooth chocolate ice cream at MYR 12.50 nett per scoop. I like that both of them are not that sweet so they are cooling and simply delicious! Despite the price, I will be having them again on my next visit. Maybe next time I will ask the staff not to shape the ice cream into a rose as that takes time and I prefer to have my ice cream fast.
Total bill for 3 pax: MYR 67.40 nett.
Open concept.

I tried tempeh that time and the taste was acceptable to me, at first I thought I won't like it
ReplyDeleteIt is made from soya beans so should taste ok.
DeleteThat sure looks good! As long as the nasi is really lemak, I like!!!
