My lunch: 2 pieces of pork, 1 piece of brinjal, 1 slice of lotus root, 1 mushroom, seaweed, julienned raw cabbage on unlimited rice with miso soup, pickles, a bit of mayo dip and a bit of miso mustard dip at MYR 25 nett. As usual I kept half my rice and one piece of the pork for later.
My friend's 2 pieces of pork, curry, onsen egg on unlimited rice with miso soup, pickles at MYR 28 nett. My friend says that the curry is delicious and the owner explained that apples were used to cook it to give it the sweetness.
Gyoza and Karaage Chicken at MYR 12 nett each and miso salad at MYR 5 nett.
My friend's hot coffee with a slice of chiffon cake with matcha cream. I am not sure how much these two items cost. The two owners are friendly and they chit chat with us while serving us our lunch in their cosy lovely home.
So fun trying home eatery concept. All the food look good. Is photography of the surrounding and decor allowed in this home eatery?
ReplyDeleteyes, it is allowed.
DeleteWe had one place here, western - never gone to try as the chef had a lot of dogs and they said he kept touching them. Dunno if it is still going on or not.
ReplyDeletenot sure how long these home eateries will be around or are they a stepping stone of market survey before they open a restaurant.
Deleteneed to do booking before going there?
