Lunch for 3 pax at MYR 33.50 nett for pork vinegar with rice (1 pax at MYR 12 nett), chicken with chicken rice (MYR 5 nett - chicken rice is not shown in the photo), peanuts with lotus roots soup (MYR 7 nett), their specialty pork stomach pepper soup (MYR 8 nett) and a plate of plain white rice (MYR 1.50 nett). Tastes good.
Chicken (1 pax portion) with a small rice at MYR 5 nett only. They put a lot of coriander, spring onion and preserved radish - Chai Poh (菜脯) on top of the very smooth steamed chicken. The chicken rice is tasty too.
This eatery is located on the same block as Ping Wah eatery (Hainanese cuisine) at Paramount, PJ.
Interior.
The name of this eatery - 廣西仔(Guang Xi Zai). Guang (wide) Xi (west) is a province in China. It is next to Guang Dong (east) province. Guang Dong is also known as Canton. Zai means kid. It seems that this eatery has a few branches in the Klang Valley.

ReplyDeleteIt was poured on top of the chicken when served but I guess you could ask them for more to pour over your rice as well if you like.
