When I see Woo Pin, I like it everyday.. Used to have it every week at the Mahkota branch whenever we go visit MIL lastime.. I love it with milk, extra milk.. Yummzzz
I have eaten this at their original ikan emas flat a long time ago. I like the original one better, more fish but then it was a long time ago when the price was much lower.
I like fish head noodles, especially with the thick mihun.. as for the soup, sometimes I like it with milk, sometimes I like it without, depending on my mood, hahahaha!!! :D
"finally found the fish"?? haha, did you mean they gave you too much soup and noodles, or you mean they just gave you two little pieces of fish?? hehe~~ :p
Oh dear! I was thinking of assam fish head this morning and here you are! Tempting me witg fish heads dishes. Haha.
I lovw my fish head noodle without milk. Simply appetizing with a bit of sour and sweetness. Yum yum. But once a while I would go for the soup with milk.
Ah, yes, this is the famous Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles (which you can find at Lot 10 Hutong as well)....I prefer the one without milk. Actually, I found a very nice one (the "ching" type) in PJ recently that you might want to try....post coming up soon ;)
i took fish head noodles once in a while....Had tried the branch in Tmn Desa & Sri Petaling too...Prices have increased over the years...last time (*years ago) it was like RM7...

ReplyDeleteI didn't know can ask for extra milk.
DeleteLove the milky soup ones. Haven't had that for a while now. The good one here closed down to focus on something more lucrative - instant kampua.
ReplyDeleteNot good ones are still in business?
DeleteHuh? Since when these guys have franchise also? Omg I'm so jakun! Have you tried it at the original place? How do they compare?

The soup and noodle covered the fish so had to look for it.

You are a good cook so I am sure you can cook a delicious assam fish head.

ReplyDeleteThe hutong ones should be more expensive!
DeleteWah Woo Pin new shop? I used to go to the one in Kuchai. This shop looks so nice, though a bit small. So near you, lucky you la. Haha!
ReplyDeleteThe one in Kuchai is Win Soon, right?
DeleteOh is it? I remember the husband told me is Woo Pin. I'm not very sure. I only know how to eat. Haha!
DeleteIt is win soon in kuchai lama. Another woo pin is in taman desa.
DeleteI am not much of a fan of fish noodles but I don't mind eating it.
ReplyDeleteI like fish but fish head not that much but still acceptable to me.

ReplyDeletePrices have gone up a lot now.
DeleteAh my colleagues just went to this place. But I was wearing long sleeve that day so decided not to brave the heat!
ReplyDeleteWow your colleagues drive out from tpm to eat every lunch?
DeleteJust once in a blue moon. Not that far right?
DeleteNot that far but hard to find parking.
DeleteI like this branch better than the one at Taman Desa because they have boneless fish!!
ReplyDeleteYou do know all woo pin outlets.
