The buckwheat noodle set looks huge.. But I think the portion not that huge.. One person can finish all? I guess you can just slurp the noodles in a second, hehe..
ReplyDeleteI think you can finish all. :)
DeleteYou had five bowls of noodles and a bowl of rice...plus the soup...and the sushi too...all to yourself? They must be very small servings. Looks big in the photos though. Everything looks nicer in the menu pics.
ReplyDeleteFour of us shared the food.
DeleteHuh? I've never seen this kind of assorted noodles in one set before. Looks like an adaptation of those Thai boat noodles, small portions in more bowls..
ReplyDeleteSoba noodles. When I was young proper Japanese restaurants here are already serving this kind of assorted soba set. Portion is much bigger than the small boat noodle.
DeleteWow! That is a feast! I would go for the seafood hot pot set.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good choice because the food is fresh and tasty.
DeleteWow...5 bowls of noodles + 1 bowl of rice.....that's real value for money :) Some more, one of them got a big prawn!
ReplyDeleteI think each bowl is like sampler size only.
DeleteWow, I like that Wankosoba set! Is it meant for one person or to share?
ReplyDeleteI think one person.
DeleteOk la.. at least the ones you ordered looks almost the same as the illustration.. :) Really a Japanese food fan, Mun!
ReplyDeleteYes I like eating Japanese food.
DeleteI love what you ate and the price is worth it. Aiyo...I must make a trip to walk inside this hotel which is so near my home.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Japanese food too. Last week I ate the famous ramen at One Mont Kiara which has new restaurants after refurbished. Many Japanese eat at this ramen shop upstairs that means the high standard is there.
I have yet to visit One Mont Kiara because I don't even know where it is.
DeleteThis one of your fav places? ;) Looks good enough for me to want try it out!
ReplyDeleteYes it is! :)
DeleteThe buckwheat noodle set looks interesting! I feel that Japanese food in Msia is very expensive. Over here, the set meals in nice Japanese restaurant cost about rm20+ and I also feel that it is expensive already haha. Maybe it's because of the big number we see on the menu (rm20+ = rmb50-60)
ReplyDeleteLucky you that prices are better there so you can eat more.
