Mun Kee n Sing Yeh

On Monday 18.jul.22, went to two eateries that we have never been to before, to buy food.

*** Mun Kee Food Court ***

This Mun Kee Food Court is known as Mun Kee Seafood Restaurant (Food Court) but is a big fully covered shed located in Happy Garden. The original Volcano Curry Mee stall is located in this Mun Kee Food Court. One day I will try it.

Pan Mee soup with hand torn pan Mee pieces MYR 8. It is as tasty as our favourite pan Mee from Swee Hing coffee shop. The pieces of pan Mee are thicker so I like this pan Mee a little more.

This Petai Ckt and yellow noodles with prawns and cockles MYR 11 is not that oily so I like it.

This is the stall that sells petai ckt.

There are many stalls in this Food Court. We will be back to try them. For dinner, we ordered salmon don from an eatery in Sri Petaling via shopeefood.

*** Sing Yeh Noodle House ***

Please click on the above menu for a larger image. This Sing Yeh Noodle House is also a shed by the road side. It is located opposite Mun Kee Food Court.

Tuesday 19.jul.22 8.18 am - the pork mihun soup MYR 7.50 nett from Sing Yeh Noodle House for breakfast. So now, apart from Swee Hing, we have another place to buy pork mihun soup.

  1. Petai becoming more mainstream now. It's seasonal so guess these items won't be available all the time.

    2. Ya ya. When not quite in season, expensive. When not in season, cannot find at all. :)

    3. I searched online and found that Petai beans are available late summer through the early winter months. I will pay attention and see whether the petai ckt sells all round the year or only during specific months only.
