Sweet Tooth

Next to the Prawn Mee Eatery is this famous Pastry Shop so we went in to buy some pastries.

Ming Xiang Tai Pastry Shop

Local Pastries. Many Choices.

We bought a box of egg tarts

They have layered flaky crusts.

Salted Egg Lotus Pastry and Mango Pineapple pastry.

Dropped by China House to get a slice of tiramisu (around MYR15.90). Heard that it is the best tiramisu in Penang.

With nuts and caramel crunch on top and at the side. Rich and sweet.

  3. Tiramisu looks heaps better than the one at Secret Recipe but is around double the price. Tarts look great.

    1. I think the tiramisu in Secret Recipe is halal so no alcohol in it.

  7. Where you heard that it is best tiramisu in Penang? I also heard many bash it as overrated. Maybe they have good and bad tiramisu days >.< ... I tried it once, I thought it was nice, but not THAT nice though... :|
