According to the article, on 12 Jan 2016, when one buys a box of 12 assorted doughnuts at MYR27.45 nett, one will get a box of 12 original glazed doughnuts on the house. To me, this is a very good deal if you can get 24 persons who love to eat doughnuts together to share and buy one box. Unfortunately I do not know 24 such persons so while I was very tempted to get a box, I knew I couldn't eat all of them in a day. I think one doughnut costs about MYR2.70 nett each.
So far, I have only tried doughnuts from Krispy Kreme and J.CO Donuts. I can't remember whether or not I have eaten Big Apple Donuts or Dunkin' Donuts before so I couldn't tell between the 4 of them, which is the best.

ReplyDeleteWhen Big Apple Donut opens its store in the Curve, the doughnuts making process can also be seen clearly through the glass windows. Now I am not sure whether or not it is still the case.
Deletewhen the first Krispy Kreme outlet in Berjaya Timesquare opened, I braved through the traffic and went to line up for a dozen, only to find out their donuts are way way way (and more way) too overly sweet for my liking.. now when I crave for some donut, I prefer Big Epal or simply the most basic sugar ring from any bakery..

DeleteI think I've tried one of each brand but never had them again so I can't remember the taste. I don't eat much doughnuts coz they're all usually super sweet. The only one I've had more than once is JCo's...and I only like the classic (or original) ones. For me, a donut should be a donut...and don't fancy those with all sorts of toppings.

So must buy all of them at the same time to eat together to rank them, right?
