Ming Xiang Tai Pastry Shop
Local Pastries. Many Choices.
We bought a box of egg tarts
They have layered flaky crusts.
Salted Egg Lotus Pastry and Mango Pineapple pastry.
Dropped by China House to get a slice of tiramisu (around MYR15.90). Heard that it is the best tiramisu in Penang.
With nuts and caramel crunch on top and at the side. Rich and sweet.
I prefer without nuts but I like caramel
ReplyDeleteyou like the caramel crunchy or soft?
DeleteThose are great local pastries. All I like. At this hour I am drooling.
ReplyDeleteHave some biscuits?
DeleteTiramisu looks heaps better than the one at Secret Recipe but is around double the price. Tarts look great.
ReplyDeleteI think the tiramisu in Secret Recipe is halal so no alcohol in it.
DeleteI love pastries and cakes. Especially egg tarts! :D
ReplyDeleteHehehehe, I know you love cakes. :D
DeleteI've no sweet tooth, but I wanna pinch the salted egg-yolk from you, Mun! Happy 2016, babe! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks! Same to you. Eh, I did not know that you do not like sweet food.
DeleteThey all look delicious and I like anything with fluffy pastry.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a sweet tooth. :)
DeleteWhere you heard that it is best tiramisu in Penang? I also heard many bash it as overrated. Maybe they have good and bad tiramisu days >.< ... I tried it once, I thought it was nice, but not THAT nice though... :|
