  1. Oh my!!! Goodness gracious me! Same here, I would just walk away even if it means I would have to settle for something less - don't expect me to queue for anything.

Many say there are others just as nice elsewhere - this one is overrated, something that people do because everyone else does it. Looks like the BR1M queues at the LHDN office here - only difference is this one, the ones in the queue are the people giving the money.

Never heard of that shop, nice that they have their own personalised crockery even though the colours do not match too well. Sure would want to check it out should I hop over to the island again.

    1. I have tasted it nearly 20 years ago, it was very tasty then. I have not tasted it recently so I cannot comment on its taste now.

  3. When I first saw the roast chicken, the first thing that came to mind was that it looked dry....and then I read your comments...hehe! :D If the queue moves quickly, I don't mind queuing (if I had time on my hands) just to see if it's as good as everyone says it is!

  4. The mixed ice dessert reminds me of our Halo-Halo but with lesser ingredients... with such hot weather today, this desserts are really comforting

  7. You really knew where to eat all the best in Penang.
I must tell the Chief Minister to give you a gold medal.
This Kek Seng has such a delicious Iced Bandung (Rose Syrup Milk) that old Penang born uncles living in Singapore and overseas still flock there just to drink it.

    2. People are so serious about their food nowadays. Last time I would never have bothered. Now... will think that if got queue means must be good! But I still won't queue if I can help it, will just go for something else.
