Happy Weekend!

Pork yee mee with pork liver (MYR8 nett) at Try Mee. Yee Mee is a type of noodle made from wheat flour and eggs or lye water (kansui). They are deep fried and then dried before being used to cook this dish. Have a good weekend!

    1. Thanks. Here it is more commonly found, pan mee or pork mee stall would let you have a choice of having yee mee if you like.

  3. This reminds me: I think yee mee is another food item that I prefer KL's over Penang's. Although they don't seem much different in terms of cooking style. :|

  7. In my house, we call this noodle "rubberband" as it looks like one. I love claypot yee mee or sizzling yee mee.

    1. I am not sure whether this dish originates from China. It is just cooking noodle with pork meat, pork liver, pork kidney and pork lard.
