We went to Red Box to celebrate a birthday during weekday K-Lunch session to take advantage of the birthday promotion where the birthday person gets to sing and eat for free.
Main dish - Salmon Pasta
\
Main dish - Nasi Lemak
Food from the buffet spread
Fruits, soup and drinks
From our previous birthday experience here, we kind of expected this
Eh? Their main courses look more attractive than I can remember. In my memory, Red Box lunches are pathetic looking dishes. Or is it your photography skills that made the difference?
The salmon and nasi lemak looks very good. In fact, everything looks good. About the eggs, they are so cute and it will be a waste to break the shells.
RED BOX!! OMG!! you reminded me how long I have not been there!! I guess almost 10 years!! I still remember when it first opened in Low Yat Plaza in year 2000, we used to go there every weekend!! muahaha, so (*crazy*) frequent until the snobbish receptionist (her name is CoCo I still remember) also became friends with us~~
Oh dear...I don't like to sing and eat or eat and sing...in whichever order :D Especially if the 'singer' is 'tone deaf'...there goes my enjoyment of the food (much like weddings sometimes)...kekeke!!!
Eh so cute the birthday eggs. So creative of them to draw faces on them. I wont eat them lah. Bring home and put on display until smelly.. haha.
ReplyDeleteHow many days can they last? :D
DeleteThe salmon pasta looks so creamy..Looks good wor..
ReplyDeleteYou are smart! The pasta is sure creamy and tasty!

ReplyDeleteNo, not my photography skills. For this outlet at the Gardens, the main dish is surprisingly good.
DeleteRed Box? Oooo...I love karaoke! But I want an open lounge with a captive audience. I'm such an exhibitionist. Hehehehehe!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can go in a big group in a big room and then you will have a captive audience for you to serenade. :)

ReplyDeleteThe main dishes taste quite good. So you will keep the eggs until they go bad too? :)

DeleteLong time have not karaoke liao...LOL...Now they have so nice offer ah. good leh
ReplyDeleteI heard a long time ago their offer was even better than this one.

ReplyDeleteNo tone deaf singers here. :D
DeleteI have heard of this place where you get to sing and eat :D Never been there as I am not into karaoke. Food looks not bad.
ReplyDeleteYou don't like to sing?
DeleteSo super cute ... No, I wont eat them... Take home and them on the table for deco first... Hahhaaa...
ReplyDeleteJust like Merryn and Nancy. :)
DeleteI didn't realize Red Box served food as well. I always just imagined a singing spot and so have stayed far away with my terrible voice. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou have never been there?
DeleteCertainly didn't expect to see a pasta dish in a karaoke & it looks good as well. Love to hear you sing, Mun!
ReplyDeleteI eat only, hahaha!
DeleteLooks not bad wo! That egg is cute!
ReplyDeleteYou will keep the eggs too?
Deleteyummy nasi lemak!
ReplyDeleteYou prefer the nasi lemak than the salmon pasta?
