No noodles

Since they have this item on their menu, I ordered it - wantons soup - MYR7.9++ (+6% govt tax = MYR8.40) - not too bad since there are a fair amount of vegetables in the soup too. The wanton fillings are basically solid fish paste unlike normal wantons with minced meat and prawns fillings. Bought from Uncle Lim eatery near Central Market.

    Mun, your bowl of wanton soup with vegetables look good. Sometimes I too take wanton soup with no noodles.

      Because you have not been to any of Uncle Lim's Cafe outlets? There are many outlets around just like Old Town and Paparich. I have been to the one in Ikano and this one only. There are others in Subang Parade and KLIA2.

    Me same with RG.. Will take one noodles and another bowl with just the soup and liew.. I always order like that with pork noodles...

      But I thought pork noodles is like dry pork noodles and the pork meatballs will be served in a separate bowl of soup and that is for one single order, no need to order separately.

    One of my favourite hawker delights - wanton soup...or our local version, pian sip soup.

      This one pales in comparison with your pian sip and so much more expensive. I would rather eat pian sip than this everyday if I could get it here.

    Quite expensive to me for a bowl of wanton soup. But I guess that the standard price in a metro city. ;)

    I like ordering wonton soup without the noodles too. I used to eat that at a restaurant called Gou Lou at Damansara Utama. Standards have dropped a bit so I don't go there anymore.

    Actually I personally think it's quite pricy for just wanton, could it because of the places of the stall as well, which makes it charge so much??

      I think all their outlets charge the same price. Let me check this out when I go to their outlet in Ikano.
